摘要: In a method for accurately delivering a therapeutic agent to a target area of an organ of a living subject, such as for injecting stem cells into the myocardium of the heart, a 3D image, in which the target area and a delivery path thereto are visible, is obtained prior to delivery of the therapeutic agent. The 3D image is displayed, and a catheter is introduced into the subject and a real time positional indication of the catheter in the subject is obtained and incorporated into the displayed image, providing visual support for guiding the catheter to the target area. When the catheter is at the target area, the therapeutic agent is injected into the target area via the catheter. The distribution of the injected therapeutic agent relative to the target area is then monitored in the displayed image.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for the provision and use of configuration files containing essential configuration data for configuring technical devices. With the method the configuration data is uploaded by one or more participants in the method via a network onto a server and downloaded by users of the technical devices as configuration files from the server via the network. When a configuration file is downloaded by a user or when a downloaded configuration file is used by a user to configure a technical device, the participant who uploaded the configuration data of the downloaded or used configuration file onto the server receives a reimbursement. The present method simplifies the configuration of units for the users of technical devices and represents an incentive for experienced users to make the configurations they have created themselves also available to other users.

摘要: An x-ray device for recording projection images of a patient features a C-arm on the ends of which an x-ray source and an x-ray detector are accommodated. The x-ray detector is accommodated on the C-arm so that translation movements can be executed with the x-ray detector in relation to the C-arm. This allows the angulation area or the area of the x-ray device with which an image can be recorded to be increased.

摘要: To improve medical imaging with the aid of an intravascular catheter, an area to be examined is irradiated with the infrared light and an assigned scatter light signal is processed to form an image. To do this, OCT imaging with the aid of tissue-permeable light at a wavelength of approximately 1300 nm is combined with OCT imaging with the aid of blood-permeable light at a wavelength of approximately 1800 nm and/or with radio-optic imaging with the aid of an infrared camera (10B) with blood-permeable light at a wavelength of 1800 nm. This combined imaging catheter system opens up new and improved application possibilities in the medical field and the quality of the images received can be improved by the mutual correction of the particular image data.

摘要: A computer-assisted diagnosis method and system for assisting doctors in diagnosis of patient aliments includes providing the computer-assisted diagnosis algorithm at a central location and providing client software at a doctor's or user's location for communication with the central location. Image data sets are communicated from the doctor's or user's client software to the computer-assisted diagnosis software at the central location so that a diagnosis can be performed by the computer-assisted diagnosis algorithm. The diagnosis of the diagnosis algorithm is provided to the user or doctor which is incorporated in the doctor's analysis to provide a final diagnosis to the patient. The final diagnosis is provided back to the central location of the computer-assisted diagnosis algorithm for improvement of the algorithm.
