Abstract: A display module includes an insulating substrate and a plurality of pixels each located on the insulating substrate and including a light-emitting element layer. The insulating substrate includes a display area where the plurality of pixels are disposed, a picture-frame area outside the display area, an outer area that is in contact with an opposite side of the picture-frame area from the display area, and a plurality of terminals located on the outer area and arranged in a direction. The outer area includes a narrowed portion whose length in the direction is shorter than a length of the display area in the direction.

Abstract: A display device includes: a flexible substrate having a shape extending in a first direction and a second direction crossing each other; a display element layer in which light-emitting elements are arranged; a sealing layer sealing the display element layer; and wires each including a first portion extending in the first direction and exhibiting a shape-memory effect, the wires being divided into groups depending on which the position of the first portion in the first direction is different. The wire of at least one group further includes a second portion not exhibiting the shape-memory effect and extending in the first direction from the first portion so as to approach an edge of the flexible substrate. The wires are energized and heated in ascending or descending order of distance of the positions of the first portions from the edge of the flexible substrate.

Abstract: The present invention overcomes image defects such as the brightness inclination or smears by reducing the line resistance of a power source bus line which supplies electricity to organic EL elements. A plurality of pixels which are arranged in a matrix array is connected to power source lines, and the plurality of power source lines are connected to a power source bus line. Both ends of the power source bus line are connected to a power source part via a FPC. By supplying electricity to both ends of the power source bus line from the power source part, the line resistance of the power source bus line can be reduced.

Abstract: In a display device in which an OLED is formed by a separate coating method, improving the accuracy of vapor deposition position and reducing display defects are established. In the array substrate, a display unit that displays an image configured with a plurality of pixels is formed. A first convex portion and a second convex portion are provided on a surface of a boundary region between the pixels of the array substrate. A first organic layer including a layer exhibiting a first emission color is stacked on the pixel electrode of the pixel, and second organic layers including a layer exhibiting a second emission color are stacked on the pixel electrode of the pixels. The first organic layer is provided to cover only the first convex portion. The second organic layers are provided not to cover any one of the first convex portion and the second convex portion.
