摘要： In a digital amplifier, a time controller generates first and second selection signals for outputting any one of music data, a center output, and a lowest output to a P output and an N output based on a power ON/OFF signal and a start/stop signal, and also generates a third selection signal for determining whether a signal having the same phase as that of the P output is output to the N output or a signal obtained by inverting the P output is output to the N output. A data selection circuit determines data to be output to the P output and the N output based on the first and second selection signals. An output data register circuit converts parallel data determined by the data selection circuit into serial data to output the serial data into the P output. An output selection circuit determines the N output based on the third selection signal.

摘要： An automatic document feeder comprising a reversing device and a discharge device is disclosed. The reversing device and the discharge device are disposed such that the distance in the horizontal direction from an original document reading position in the automatic document feeder to the discharge device is longer than the distance in the horizontal direction from the original document reading position to the reversing device. This configuration allows the use of original documents whose length in the transport direction is short, and also shortens the transport path in the automatic document feeder as well as the amount of time needed to read an original document. Furthermore, this configuration increases the visibility of original documents discharged to the discharge tray by the discharge device because the discharge device is disposed relatively far away from the original document reading position.

The roller comprises a roller body and a driving force receiver connected to a motor. When the driving force receiver is driven, the roller body is driven and rotated by engagement of the driving force receiver and the roller body. When the roller stops, the roller body is disengaged from the drivng force receiver and becomes freely rotatable in either direction.

摘要： A conveying belt mechanism for an automatic document feeder, for conveying a document placed on a document bearing plate to a document exposure position on a transparent platen. The conveying belt mechanism includes a driving roller and a driven roller disposed above the transparent platen, with a predetermined spacing provided between the two rollers in a document feeding direction, an endless conveying belt looped over the driving roller and the driven roller, pressing rollers disposed between the driving roller and the driven roller for pressing the endless conveying belt against the transparent platen, and belt guides mounted at both ends of the driven roller. Each belt guide includes a boss portion mounted on a rotating shaft of the driven roller so as to be capable of relative rotation, a detachment-preventing portion which protrudes from the boss portion diametrically beyond an outer peripheral surface of the driven roller and which has a front end bent inwardly, and a rotation stopping portion provided in the boss portion, the rotation stopping portion being engaged with a rotation restraining member.

摘要： This invention relates to a document transport device for use in an image forming apparatus. The document transport device has a first belt roller disposed above a document positioning member. A second belt roller is disposed away from the first belt roller in the document transport direction. An endless belt is wound around the first and second belt rollers. Plural presser rollers are arranged on a specified position between the first and second belt rollers to press the belt against a contact glass. The document transport device has a tension roller between the first belt roller and the presser roller closest thereto to apply a tension force to the belt so as to set the belt at the lowermost position of the tension roller below a common tangential line to the circumferences of the first belt roller and the presser roller and apart from the contact glass.

摘要： A recycle document feeder includes a partitioning unit (17) and action plates (19, 20). The partitioning unit (17) includes a partitioning bar (18). When the partitioning bar (18) is lowered, the leading edges of discharged document originals are stopped by the partitioning bar (18). The action plates (19, 20) guide the discharged document originals toward an upper side of the trailing edges of document originals yet to be fed, and push the trailing edges of the discharged document originals to transport the document originals for re-feeding thereof. The partitioning unit (17) and the action plates (19, 20) are driven by a common motor (47). Further, a partitioning unit driving mechanism (110) and an action plate driving mechanism (111) are provided for driving the partitioning unit (17) and the action plates (19, 20), respectively.
