    摘要： An information processing apparatus for executing information processing on a sheet material using a head member arranged for information processing area comprises a head mounting member for mounting a head member thereon, this head mounting member having a position for attaching and detaching the head member to and from the head mounting member, and a mounting position to mount the head member on the head mounting member by positioning the head member with respect to the head mounting member; a pressing member movably arranged on the head mounting member, this pressing member abutting upon the head member mounted on the head mounting member to cause the head member to shift from the attaching and detaching position to the mounting position by the application of pressure given to the head member; and a contact area for the pressing member and head member to abut upon each other, this contact area being arranged to reduce slide resistance to occur in the direction different from the direction in which the head member shifts from the attaching and detaching position to the mounting position. With this structure, the slide resistance to be exerted between these members, which may produce adverse effect on positioning the head member, is made extremely small in order to reliably position the head member exactly.

The image projecting device includes a projection lens system and a reflector. The projection lens system directs the light flux indicative of the image from the image generating device toward the reflector so as to be away from the screen. The reflector bends the light flux and directs the light flux from the reflector to the screen along a predetermined path. The image generating device and the projection lens system are arranged on the side of the predetermined path along the path.

    摘要： A recording apparatus for forming images using a recording head includes a feeding roller, a conveying roller, a conveyance control unit, and a recording control unit. The conveyance control unit performs a conveying operation a number of times after the trailing end of a sheet reaches a predetermined position defined between the feeding roller and the conveying roller such that the trailing end of the sheet is disposed in a predetermined range upstream of the conveying roller in a sheet conveying direction after the conveying operations. At least one of the conveying operations performed a number of times is performed based on a distance from the position of the trailing end of the sheet to the position of the conveying roller.

    摘要： This invention relates to a printing apparatus and a conveyance control method capable of allowing even an arrangement having a plurality of conveyance rollers in a printing medium conveyance path to accurately control conveyance of a printing medium. A pattern having a predetermined uniform density is printed on a printing medium a plurality of number of times by using a printhead while conveying the printing medium and changing the conveyance amount by a small amount. A conveyance correction amount obtained on the basis of the conveyance amount upon printing a pattern selected from a plurality of printed pattern is stored in a storage medium. Conveyance of the printing medium is controlled while correcting the conveyance amount of the printing medium by the conveyance means on the basis of the conveyance correction amount stored in the storage means.
