Abstract:
A device for holding an electric cell is disclosed which comprises a cell receiving space with its edges spaced enough to receive a cell and an elastic clasping member adapted to clasp the cell, the arrangement being such that the cell may be held by fitting the elastic clasping member into the cell receiving space and may be removed by pulling up the elastic clasping member, whereas the electric circuit may be completed by the fitting of the elastic clasping member without using any special lead-in wires.
Abstract:
A holder for a battery cassette which has, at its front portion, a pair of terminals of dry cells juxtaposed therein and, at its rear portion, a releasable lid which defines a projecting flange in cooperation with the rear edge of the battery cassette. The battery cassette holder has a window in the base board thereof through which the battery cassette is mounted on said holder, a terminal mounting board provided with a pair of resilient terminals for making resilient contact with said terminals of the battery cassette and a fixing board provided with a notch for receiving the upper side of said projecting flange when the battery casette is mounted in position, thereby to snugly and rigidly hold the battery cassette.
Abstract:
An automatic circuit breaker senses the remaining charge in series connected batteries driving a motor whose rotor shaft bearing and stator are rotatably supported by a fixed member, sensing the reaction torque of the motor. The power circuit is broken when the reaction torque drops below a predetermined value indicating that at least one of the batteries has discharged beyond a certain point to prevent reverse charging of the discharged battery.
Abstract:
A multi-purpose cigarette lighter using rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries which comprises a heated coil cigarette lighter for general smoking purpose and which further incorporates a built-in vacuum cleaner and electric lamp.
Abstract:
A beauty treatment device having sharp-edged disc-like wheels, a wheel shaft for supporting the wheels, a device body for rotatably supporting the wheel shaft, a weight, resting on the device body, for giving pushing force to the wheel shaft, a vibration generation mechanism for giving vibration to the wheel shaft, and a travelling mechanism for causing the wheel shaft to rotate is disclosed. The device provides massage by giving vibration to the wheel shaft and causing the wheel shaft to rotate on the axis thereof.
Abstract:
A battery charging system designed to charge a battery, especially a nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) battery from a lead acid power supply without overcharging, and to charge uniformly a plurality of batteries in parallel. A non-linear resistance is utilized and is matched to the voltage difference of the power supply battery and the batteries being charged.
Abstract:
An energy supply device for supplying a predetermined amount of energy by means of rotating rollers driven by an electric motor to a power toy driven by elastic materials is disclosed.
Abstract:
The shaver warmer of this invention includes a heat transfer portion which almost closely fits the shaver head of the electric shaver to be warmed. A heat supply portion is directly connected to the heat transfer portion and a temperature control portion controls the heating temperature by detecting the temperature of the heat transfer portion. The shaving head of the electric shaver can thereby be heated to a predetermined temperature in a relatively short time so that advantage may be taken of the relatively large thermal capacity of the shaving head of an electric shaver.
Abstract:
A radio control system having a radio-controlled model toy on which a d-c power supply, a receiver and two electric motors are mounted, and a transmitter for maneuvering the radio-controlled model toy, and characterized in that the transmitter is constructed so that a control pulse signal having a pulse level representing signal "1" and a pulse level representing signal "0" is transmitted and the duration of the signal "1" pulses is increased or decreased, and that the receiver is constructed so that driving current is supplied to a motor during the signal "1" pulse duration and to another motor during the signal "0" pulse duration.
Abstract:
A radio controlled, battery-operated model toy having an electric motor, a battery device for supplying energy to the electric motor, a radio control receiver, and a servo mechanism operated by the output of the receiver, wherein a voltage responsive automatic circuit breaker which opens the electric circuit of the electric motor in response to a voltage drop in the battery device and holds the circuit in the open stage is provided between the battery device and the electric motor, and a voltage regulator/noise filter is provided between the battery device and the radio control receiver.
