    摘要: The improved hourglass worm gear which has been produced by grinding a blank for the worm gear by rotating a grinding wheel about a grinding wheel shaft A while turning the grinding wheel shaft A about a tool shaft A3 which extends in parallel with a wheel shaft A2 perpendicular to a worm shaft A1 is characterized in that a cross-sectional shape of the grinding wheel taken in a plane inclusive of the grinding wheel shaft A exhibits a circular arc.Since the cross-sectional shape of the grinding wheel for successively grinding a series of gear tooth surfaces on the hourglass worm gear is contoured in the form of a circular arc, the hourglass worm gear assures that a radius r of the circular arc has an increased degree of freedom and an ideal contact pattern can be obtained by properly adjusting the radius r.A contour of each gear tooth shape having few variation of gear tooth engagement is determined by correctly adjusting the radius r of the circular arc as well as various conditions associated with correct generation of a series of gear tooth surfaces on the worm gear in order to assure the ideal contact pattern regardless of displacement of shafts as well as displacement of each gear tooth under a large magnitude of load.

    摘要: A positive electrode active material capable of improving an output performance of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided. A positive electrode active material of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 contains a first positive electrode active material and a second positive electrode active material. In the first positive electrode active material, the content of cobalt is 15% or more on an atomic percent basis in transition metals. In the second positive electrode active material, the content of cobalt is 5% or less on an atomic percent basis in transition metals. An average secondary particle diameter r1 of the first positive electrode active material is smaller than an average secondary particle diameter r2 of the second positive electrode active material.

    摘要: The MEMS switch comprises a substrate with signal-lines having fixed-contacts, a movable-plate with a movable-contact, a flexible support-member supporting the movable-plate, a static-actuator and a piezoelectric-actuator configured to contact the movable-contact with the fixed-contact. The movable-contact is provided at its longitudinal center with the movable-contact, and its both the longitudinal ends with static-movable-electrode-plate. The support-member is four strips disposed on portions outside of the both width ends of the movable plate. The strip extends along the longitudinal direction of the movable plate, provided with a first end fixed to the movable plate, and provided with a second end fixed to the substrate. The piezoelectric-element is disposed on an upper surface of the strip to be located at a portion outside of the width ends of the movable-plate. The piezoelectric-actuator is configured to develop the stress applied to the coupling-portion which is created between each the strip and the movable-plate.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a receiver is connected via a communication network to a broadcast server that transmits a plurality of programs broadcast via the Internet. The receiver includes a storage module, a receiving module, a connection processor, a display module, and a determination module. The storage module stores channels of the programs. The receiving module receives input specifying a first program, from among the programs, to be viewed. The connection processor receives the first program or a second program that is automatically transmitted from the broadcast server from among the programs. The display module displays the first program or the second program. The determination module determines whether the display module displays the first program, and, when determining that the display module displays the first program, stores the channel of the first program in the storage module.

    摘要: An ATM operation supporting system for managing the number of bills in a plurality of ATMs. The system includes a mobile cart, a counting section, and a control section. The mobile cart has a handling mechanism capable of installing a bill cassette into each ATM and removing the bill cassette from each ATM. The mobile travels to each ATM and installs and removes the bill cassette using the handling mechanism, thereby performing bill replenishment/collection operation for each ATM. The counting section counts the number of bills stored in the bill cassette which is directly or indirectly loaded onto the mobile cart by a clerk in charge. The control section controls the bill replenishment/collection operation performed by the mobile cart such that the numbers of bills in the ATMs are balanced. The ATM operation supporting system can manage the number of bills in an ATM, thereby realizing efficient utilization of cash as well as easing the operational burden on a clerk in charge.
