摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes: a light source section; a liquid crystal display panel including pixels and performing video display; and a drive section. The drive section performs the driving on the light source section for turning ON and OFF in synchronization with the driving of the pixels for the light-sequential writing such that, the liquid crystal display panel is selectively illuminated with the light from a lower emission region in the light source section when the pixels in an upper display region are under the driving for line-sequential writing, and such that, the liquid crystal display panel is selectively illuminated with the light from an upper emission region when the pixels in a lower display region are under the driving for line-sequential writing. A phase difference between emission periods in the upper and lower emission regions falls within a range from 90° to 150° both inclusive.

摘要: A transceiving device includes a transmission signal generating module for generating a transmission signal that is frequency-modulated by a predetermined frequency sweep width, a transceiver module for transmitting a pulse signal having substantially the same waveform as a waveform of the transmission signal and receiving an echo signal corresponding to the transmission signal from a detection range, and a pulse-compression filter for pulse-compressing the echo signal received by the transceiver module. The pulse-compression filter has an input/output characteristic. The characteristic has, when the pulse-compression filter is inputted with an input signal having substantially the same waveform as the waveform of the transmission signal, a window function shape such that a phase spectrum of an output signal corresponding to the input signal is linear and an amplitude spectrum of the output signal does not have a frequency component other than a frequency band with which a frequency sweep is carried out.

摘要: A reflective layer for reflecting light incident from a second substrate side and transmitting through a second electrode made of ITO or the like is formed above a first substrate, a switching element provided for each pixel, and an insulating film covering the switching element, the reflective layer being insulated from the switching element. A first electrode having a work function similar to the second electrode and made of a transparent conductive material such as ITO is formed more proximate to a liquid crystal layer than is the reflective layer and is connected to the switching element. The thickness of the first electrode is set to 100 Å or less or in a range approximately from 750 Å to 1250 Å. Alternatively, the switching element maybe connected to the reflective electrode, the first electrode and the reflective electrode which are formed with an insulating film therebetween may be capacitively coupled, and the first electrode may be driven by the reflective electrode via the capacitor.

摘要: Terminal fittings (10A, 10B) are inserted into cavities (21) through terminal insertion holes (22) formed at the front sides of the cavities (21) and a front holder (40) is mounted onto the front surface of a housing (20) to prevent the terminal fittings (10A, 10B) from coming out. Coupling portions (13) of the terminal fittings (10A, 10B) are positioned by shake preventing holes (23) at the rear sides of the cavities (21). Thus, the terminal fittings (10A, 10B) are prevented from shaking. Accordingly, board connecting portions (12) of the terminal fittings (10A, 10B) are aligned with precision and the connector is assembled smoothly.
