Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods that can be used in a wireless communication system, and systems adapted to use such methods. In a preferred form the methods are useful in channel estimation in a wireless communication system using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). The system is provided with a control block to optimize channel estimation.
Abstract:
Described herein are processing techniques for fabrication of stretchable and/or flexible electronic devices using laser ablation patterning methods. The laser ablation patterning methods utilized herein allow for efficient manufacture of large area (e.g., up to 1 mm2 or greater or 1 m2 or greater) stretchable and/or flexible electronic devices, for example manufacturing methods permitting a reduced number of steps. The techniques described herein further provide for improved heterogeneous integration of components within an electronic device, for example components having improved alignment and/or relative positioning within an electronic device. Also described herein are flexible and/or stretchable electronic devices, such as interconnects, sensors and actuators.
Abstract:
A controlling method and device for data transmission including the steps of providing a system bus for connecting a first transmission channel and a second transmission channel with a command processor, adjusting a transmitting direction of the system bus according to a transmitting direction of the second transmission channel, and proceeding the data processing procedures of the second transmission channel, wherein parts of data processing procedures of the first transmission channel will last during a interval between the system bus adjusting the transmitting direction and the data processing procedures of the second transmission channel start on.The present invention ensure that the independence between every data caching and processing reduces the times of flushing the cached data from the data transmission channel and re-seeking through the source, shortening the transmission time, increasing facileness and improving the efficiency of the data transmission.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an infrared thermometer and a detecting head component thereof. The novel detecting head component is located on the top of the infrared thermometer. The detecting head component includes a shell, n infrared detector inside the shell, and a sleeve unit, coupled to the part of the shell which contacts with a measuring object. The infrared thermometer in the present invention can increase the comfortableness of user during using the infrared thermometer.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a thermoformed litter scoop comprising a generally concave scoop portion, and a handle portion attached to the scoop portion. The scoop portion has a bottom, sides and a rear and a plurality of openings therein. The openings are defined to allow the passage of litter granules therethrough. The handle portion has reinforcing ribs and the scoop portion has reinforcing ribs. The invention also describes a method of making a thermoformed scoop.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an improved probe structure, which comprises: a casing having an opening; a sleeve arranged inside the casing and around the opening; a temperature sensor installed inside the sleeve; a curved solid circularly arranged along the inner rim of the opening and above the temperature sensor. Owing to the curved solid, the detection angle can be reduced, and the detected temperature is closer to the eardrum temperature; further, the gap between the casing and the temperature sensor can be decreased, and the volume of the probe structure can be reduced.
Abstract:
A welding head with heat-conducting structure for a gas welding gun comprises: a housing, a welding head and a non-flat net-like heating member. The housing is formed with a recess and a plurality of air holes in communication with the recess. The welding head is installed on the housing and formed with a guiding slope being located correspondingly to the air holes of the housing, and between the guiding slope and the air holes of the housing is formed a space. The non-flat net-like heating member received in the recess of the housing. The heating effect of the heating member is substantially increased by improving the contacting area. The heat produced during gas combustion will be discharged via the air holes and then guided to flow in the direction of the guide slope, and thus it can be prevented from damaging the neighboring electronic components.
