摘要： An improved polyvinylidene fluoride resin-made filament. It consists substantially of a blend of 99-wt. % of a first polyvinylidene fluoride resin component having an inherent viscosity higher than 1.30 dl/g on the one hand, and 1-60 wt. % of a second polyvinylidene fluoride component having an inherent viscosity lower than 1.20 dl/g on the other. The blend has a critical shearing stress lower than 2.8.times.10 dyne/cm.sup.2 and is subjected to melt-spinning and successively to a primary and a secondary stretching in a temperature region of 70.degree.-180.degree. C. The overall stretch factor is selected to be 4-10.

摘要： A method is disclosed for polarizing a thermoplastic resin film having a continuous metal electrode on one surface and a plurality of discrete electrodes on the other surface. An additional thermoplastic resin film coated on one surface with an evaporated metal coating is placed on the first thermoplastic resin film such that the evaporated metal coating comes into contact with the discrete electrodes. A polarizing d.c. voltage is applied between the continuous metal electrode and the evaporated metal coating.

The master apparatus includes a nonvolatile memory, the first processor that acquires operating information generated by each slave apparatus, stores the acquired operating information, and determines if at least one operating information indicates specific operating information, and a first transmitter. Each slave apparatus includes a volatile memory, a second processor to store generated operating information in the volatile memory sequentially, and a second transmitter that transfers the operating information stored in the volatile memory to the master apparatus. The second processor stores the specific operating information in the volatile memory until the second transmitter transfers the generated specific operating information to the master apparatus based on the request transferred by the first transmitter in the master apparatus if the specific operating information is generated.

摘要： The manufacturing yield of transflective liquid crystal display devices is to be enhanced. In a transflective liquid crystal display device including a liquid crystal display panel having a pair of substrates and a liquid crystal layer held between the pair of substrates, the liquid crystal display panel has a plurality of subpixels each having a transmissive part and a reflective part, wherein one of the pair of substrates has: an active element; a first insulating film disposed in a higher layer than the electrode of the active element and having a first contact hole; a counter electrode disposed in a higher layer than the first insulating film; a reflective electrode disposed in the reflective part in a higher layer than the counter electrode; a second insulating film disposed in a higher layer than the counter electrode and the reflective electrode and having a second contact hole; a pixel electrode disposed in a higher layer than the second insulating film; and an electroconductor formed in the first contact hole and electrically connected to the electrode of the active element, and the pixel electrode is electrically connected to the electroconductor via the second contact hole.
