摘要: An axial and compressive load support assembly for supporting an axial load and longitudinal compression provides axial load and compressive support for a seat and a load. The assembly provides support through a vertical polyhedron member with radially extending L-shaped legs that from an obtuse angle. The polyhedron member bears an axial load, such as the seat and a load. A plurality of struts extend between the legs and the polyhedron member at an angle. The struts resist longitudinal compression by providing outwards-facing support in a lengthwise direction. A crossbar extends between the strut and the legs. The crossbar is defined by apertures configured to align with the fastening holes in the polyhedron member and enable passage of at least one fastener for detachably fastening the connected legs, struts, and crossbars to the polyhedron member. A wooden extension can be integrated into the second rod of the legs.

摘要: A variation-tolerant receiver includes a plurality of receiver resonators configured to demultiplex a multiplexed modulated signal received from at least one wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) transmitter having a plurality of transmitter resonators and wherein operationally each of the receiver resonators has a receiver resonance linewidth not exceeding a minimum spacing between two adjacent transmitter resonances of the transmitter resonators, the receiver resonances collectively spanning a free spectral range of one of the receiver resonators such that the variation-tolerant receiver achieves gapless spectral response. A method passively compensates transmitter-receiver channel mismatch in a transceiver by: separating a broadband carrier into a plurality of narrowband transmitter carriers; modulating the narrowband transmitter carriers to form a plurality of modulated signals; multiplexing each of the modulated signals to form a multiplexed modulated signal; and demultiplexing the multiplexed modulated signal onto a plurality of receiver channels.

摘要: An input method editor (IME) described herein couples scenarios of the input of the user with specific network services to offer more relevant and richer candidates for higher input productivity. Data relating to a computer application in which the input candidates are to be input and/or context relating to a user-submitted query is collected and analyzed to determine a scenario. The input candidates may include text candidates and rich candidates. The IME may select a scenario-tuned and type specific engine to identify the text candidates and/or rich candidates. The scenario-tuned text candidate engines leverage scenario-tuned language models and lexicons, and the scenario-tuned rich candidate engines leverage scenario-relevant web services, such as image, mapping, and video search, when available and appropriate.
