In one aspect, a method includes generating two-dimensional analytical faces; generating a three-dimensional shell bounding box that encompasses the analytical faces; determining, for each analytical face, one or more sample points; performing a flood-fill algorithm from a reference grid cell through other grid cells in the shell bounding box; casting one or more primary rays from each grid cell encountered by the flood-fill algorithm that does not contain any of the sample points but that directly neighbors a grid cell that does contain a sample point; for each ray, identifying as an exterior face the first analytical face within a vicinity of the grid cell from which the ray is cast that is intersected by the ray; and generating a building envelope based on the identified exterior faces.

    摘要: A radio circuit comprises an interface unit for communicating data and commands over a communication link between a digital baseband circuit and the radio circuit. Furthermore, the radio circuit comprises an event-scheduling unit, a local time-reference unit, a synchronization unit, and an execution-control unit. The event-scheduling unit is arranged to receive event-request commands specifying an event to be executed in the radio circuit and a time instant at which the specified event is to be executed, from the digital baseband circuit. Furthermore, the event-scheduling unit is arranged to, in response to receiving an event request-command, schedule the specified event to be executed on the specified time instant. The execution-control unit is arranged to issue execution of each scheduled event at the scheduled time instant based on time information from the local time reference unit. The local time-reference unit is synchronized with a time-reference unit in the digital baseband circuit in response to a synchronization command, from the synchronization unit.

    摘要: Own communication equipment locates a source of wireless transmissions, the own equipment including a serving base station (BS). The serving BS receives, from remote sensors including at least one user equipment (UE), sensing information from which transmitter location information (“location information”) can be determined. The location information is oriented in a serving BS coordinate system. The location information can comprise white space sensing information from which a direction of a transmitter relative to a position of the UE can be determined, and pilot signal sensing information from which respective directions of one or more BSs relative to the position of the UE can be determined. The BS transforms the white space and pilot signal sensing information into the location information. Geographical safety margins are determined from the location information, and BS transmissions are adjusted to limit transmitting signals beyond the geographical safety margin area.

    摘要: The control word input to a Digitally Controlled Oscillator (DCO) is modified to reduce non-monotonic regions in the output response of the DCO. The DCO may be included in a Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) circuit for generating an output signal that locks onto either the phase or frequency of a reference signal input. By modifying the control word input to the DCO to avoid non-monotonic regions in the DCO output response, PLL phase noise is reduced. In one embodiment, the control word is modified by reordering or skipping control word values input to the DCO that correspond to non-monotonic regions in the output response of the DCO circuit.
