    摘要: Provided is an image forming apparatus support structure which permits improvements in both strength and dimensional accuracy, and which can also accommodate increases in size. Because respective coupling member(s) and steel channel of respective post member(s) may be sequentially and individually connected, it is possible to improve support structure dimensional accuracy, it being possible to assemble support structure(s) such that deviation(s) in the respective coupling member(s) and the respective post member(s) offset(s) one another. Furthermore, steel channel is suitable for supporting load(s) in vertical direction(s). Moreover, respective coupling member(s) may serve as brace(s) when interposed between respective post members. Where this is the case, strength of the overall support structure may be made extremely high, and strain exhibited by the overall support structure may be reduced.

    摘要: A transfer device is provided including an intermediate transfer belt and transfer rollers associated with respective of photosensitive drums. Each of the transfer rollers and the intermediate transfer belt define therebetween a contact range of which center lies downstream of the center of a contact range (transfer nip region) defined between the associated photosensitive drum and the endless belt in the direction of movement of the endless belt. The transfer roller deforms the path of movement of the intermediate transfer belt by contacting the intermediate transfer belt, and the resulting deformation causes the intermediate transfer belt to contact the periphery of the photosensitive drum over a predetermined range.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus with a main body composed of a light source, a photoreceptor, charging device for electrostatically a charging the surface of the photoreceptor, a developing device for supplying toner particles to the surface of the photoreceptor a transferring charger for transferring a toner image formed on the surface of the photoreceptor onto a copying sheet, and a high-voltage source for applying a high voltage trigger to both said charging device and the transferring charger simultaneously. The apparatus is designed to execute original scanning as an original glass plate is moved with respect to the main body, characterized in containing a reflecting unit for reflecting the light from the light source to illuminate the surface of the photoreceptor at an area between the charging device and the developing device, the reflecting unit is disposed at a position corresponding to the trailing end of the original glass plate in its forward movement for original scanning. The apparatus is designed to eliminate the need of providing an independent light source for blank exposure thereby simplifying the arrangement for blank exposure to be performed with respect to the photoreceptor and saving the manufacturing cost for the apparatus.

The organic film (22) is formed as a monomolecular film in which functional organic molecules (11) self assemble. Each of the organic molecules (11) has functional groups (A1, A1) with metal-binding properties on both ends of a main chain (B1).
