摘要: A bonding device is for bonding an object to be bonded under pressure to a surface to be bonded by allowing a load and vibration to act on the object to be bonded. The bonding device includes a bonding tool 14 abutting on the object to be bonded, and a pressing unit pressing the bonding tool to the object to be bonded. The bonding tool includes a transversely elongated horn, a vibrator 17 applying a longitudinal vibration to the horn 15 in a first direction along the longitudinal direction of the horn a protruding part 30 protruding from the horn in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction, a bonding operation part 31 provided in the end part of the protruding part 30 to abut on the object to be bonded, and a heating unit inserted into a mounting hole provided in the horn. The heating unit is mounted into the mounting hole with a space maintained from the inner surface of the mounting hole.

摘要: A bonding tool for bonding electronic components by ultrasonic vibration. The bonding tool includes a horn supported by two ribs from both sides, and a transducer is attached to an end of this horn. A protrusion protruding downward from the center between the ribs is provided on the horn, and a tip of the protrusion is a bonding portion which contacts the electronic component. The transducer is driven to apply vertical vibration to the horn. A phase of vertical expansion and compression vibration on the horn generated by this vertical vibration is set to have the same phase as that of bending vibration on the protrusion. Accordingly, displacement by expansion and vertical vibration at side ends of the bonding portion is canceled out by displacement caused by bending vibration.

摘要: Disclosed are a sheet pack and a printer, the sheet pack being inexpensive and capable of being easily set onto the printer and simply exchanged with another one, while users can know information such as the quality, size and number of sheets of printing paper contained in the sheet pack. The sheet pack, containing a predetermined number of sheets, has a frame case formed of thick paper, and may include a sheet supply opening, an abutment opening, a pressure contact opening and a separating pad. A recording member for recording information such as quality, size, number, thickness, color or production date of sheets contained in the sheet pack, may also be provided on the sheet pack. The printer, onto which the sheet pack can be removably set includes an information reading unit for reading the information recorded in the recording member when the sheet pack is set onto the printer. The information read by the information reading unit is displayed by a display unit. The number of sheets remained in the sheet pack resulted from subtracting the number of sheets printed from the original number of sheets may also be recorded in the recording member.

摘要: In a bonding tool which bonds a component to a substrate by urging and vibration, a through hole is formed in the horn. An adhesion section is fit into a lower section of the hole and an engaging section is fit into an upper section of the hole, so that a sealed inner space is formed inside the hole by tightening an outer screw. An adhesion hole open to a bonding section communicates with a sucking hole of the horn via the inner space, so that a simply structured vacuum-adhesion-system can be formed. These mechanics do not lose replaceablility of the adhesion section detachable to the horn. As a result, the adhesion section can be replaceable as an independent part (urging terminal), and a bonding apparatus as well as a bonding tool having the simply structured vacuum-adhesion-system can be provided.

摘要: In an ink jet recording apparatus, a plurality of kinds of heads are separately mounted and a waste ink container is provided. The ink level of the waste ink container is monitored, and the kind of ink jet head mounted is detected. The amount of waste ink exhausted from a mounted ink jet recording head is corrected in response to the kind of ink jet head mounted. Each kind of ink jet printhead mounted has distinct waste ink exhaust properties caused by factors such as different size of ink drops, or different number of printhead exhaust ports which affect preliminary discharge amounts of waste ink and factors such as different suction loads on the ink tanks, different flow resistances of the ink flow passages and different viscosities of the inks used in the printheads which affect suction recovery amounts of waste ink. The recovery function is corrected such that the waste ink amount exhausted from the mounted head is carried out in accordance with the mounted ink jet head.
