    摘要: An image forming apparatus including an image bearing member, a latent image forming device which forms a latent image on the image bearing member, a developing device which develops the latent image using a two-component developer including a toner and a carrier and a toner supplying device which supplies toner into the developing device. A developer agitating device agitates developer in the developing device and a toner-density detecting device detects a toner density of developer in the developing device. A toner-density control device controls the toner density by operating the toner supplying device on the basis of a detected result according to the toner-density detecting device. A memory device stores resultant value of the toner density detected by the toner-density detecting device during image forming operations. The toner-density detecting device detects the toner density in a warm-up operation before starting the image forming operation by the image forming apparatus. The toner-density control device changes an amount of the toner supply which is supplied by the toner supplying device after starting the image forming operation according to a result of a comparison of the detected toner density in the warm-up operation with the detected result stored in the memory device. The toner-density control device changes an amount of the toner supply which is supplied by the toner supplying device after starting the image forming operation according to the resultant value of comparison of a result of a detection.

    摘要: There is provided an image forming device capable of preventing smudges on the background of an image due to excess toner replenishment caused by a failure in stirring developer and toner enough to charge the toner or scattering of replenished toner without being charged. A toner conveying member for conveying replenished toner from a toner replenishing portion through a toner replenishing port to a developer stirring and conveying member is constructed by a screw member unitarily formed with the developer stirring and conveying member. The screw member has a spiral conveying fin capable of conveying the replenished toner at relatively high speed. The replenished toner is delivered to a toner replenishing portion provided in the upstream of a developer receiving portion of the screw member.

    摘要: The clean surfaces of rollers in contact with photoconductive element of an image forming apparatus are cleaned of toner and other contaminants by increasing pressure between the contact surfaces of the roller and the photoconductive element during non-sensitive phases of operation, so that toner and other contaminants are transferred from the rollers to the photoconductive element. Alternatively, the rotational speed of the rollers are decreased, increased or reversed during non-sensitive phases of operation to effect transfer of toner and other contaminants to the photoconductive element for removal by the development station and/or development station. The system and cleaning method, which is particularly useful for charging, transfer and discharging rollers, are applicable to image forming apparatus wherein accumulation of toner and other contaminants decreases the quality of reproduction, require troublesome maintenance, decrease the life of the rollers requiring replacement, and prevents a compact image forming apparatus.

A bad pellet drop cylinder is disposed along the sloping face of the pellet exhaust chute, and a guide cover is pivotably mounted for opening and closing movement on the upper entrance of the bad pellet drop cylinder.

The object is subjected to magnetic fields and RF pulse signals which produce echo signals. The echo signals which represent views of the object are detected. Data collecting circuitry selectively performs a data collection process on the detected echo signals to produce collected data such that, for those echo signals of a relatively small strength, part of the data collection process is suppressed and, for those echo signals of a relatively great strength, the data collection process is performed a plurality of times under identical operating conditions. A data processor processes the collected data to produce view data such that, for the echo signals for which the data collection process has been suppressed, interpolation data is produced and, for the echo signals for which the data collection process has been performed a plurality of times, a summing and averaging operation is performed on the collected data. The data processor combines the interpolation data with the summed and averaged data thereby producing view data. An image constructor performs a Fourier transform on the view data thereby constructing image data.

    摘要: The bank notes in a bank note container are delivered one at a time by means of feed rollers and a delivery roller. The delivered bank notes are detected by sensor means. A signal from the sensor means is transferred to a control mechanism which drives or stops the delivery roller. The delivery roller is stopped and is driven again in response to a signal from an encoder carried by a supporting shaft of pull rollers. Therefore the bank notes are delivered from the bank note delivery container to the outside thereof in a predeterminedly spaced apart relationship.
