摘要： A structure for arrangement of an occupant protective apparatus for a vehicle includes: an inflator disposed at a predetermined position of a vehicle body and adapted to eject a gas at a time of a side collision when a high load is applied to a side of the vehicle body; a bag stored in a folded state in such a manner as to extend between a front pillar and a roof side rail and adapted to be inflated in a shape of a curtain below the roof side rail in a vehicle compartment by a gas supplied from the inflator, the bag being disposed in a space formed between a body panel and an interior member disposed on an inner side of the vehicle compartment with a predetermined interval with the body panel; and an energy absorbing member provided in the space and disposed in close proximity to the bag so as to absorb an impact from the inner side of the vehicle compartment.

摘要： A drawer device or member is provided which is prevented from inadvertently moving of an arm rest at the time of either a sudden stop or very fast acceleration when starting. The drawer device comprises an outer member fixed in the arm rest and an inner member installed so as to be capable of sliding movement into and out of the outer member. A push type lock or open mechanism is positioned between the outer member and the inner member, and regulates movement of the inner member. Also included is a control device, which controls movement of the inner member by preventing release of the lock when the arm rest is in a substantially upright position, and releases the lock when the arm is in a substantially horizontal position.

摘要： A reed type relay comprises a frame forming a cavity and having coil terminals. A bobbin assembly containing a coil is mounted in the cavity, this assembly having a flange at each end. A pair of magnetic poles energized by a permanent magnet as well as by the coil is pressed into one of these flanges and the base end of a reed is pressed into the other. This reed is elongated and extends along the bobbin assembly with its tip located between the poles so as to be movable into engagement with each of them.

摘要： A grille shutter device selectively opening and closing a grille opening in the front grille of a vehicle. The grille shutter device includes a fin, a motor, a transmission mechanism, a first switch, and a second switch. The fin has a support shaft, which is rotatably supported by the front grille. When supplied with electricity, the motor rotates its output shaft in one direction. The transmission mechanism converts the rotation of the output shaft to a swinging motion of the fin, thereby swinging the fin between a closed position, where the fin closes the grille opening, and an open position, where the fin opens the grille opening. When the fin is swung to the closed position, the first switch stops the motor. When the fin is swung to the open position, the second switch stops the motor.

摘要： A downstream side fin group is formed by a plurality of fins. Among these fins, end fins positioned at both ends in an arranging direction are arranged near second wall portions. Each end fin has an extension portion which is bent at upstream end thereof and extends toward the corresponding second wall portion. A space is provided near each second wall portion in the ventilation passage. Each space is closed by the corresponding extension portion at a time when the corresponding end fin is arranged at a maximum inclined position at which the end fin is most away from the second wall portion, and the extension portion enters the space at a time when the end fin is arranged at a different position from the maximum inclined position.
