    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for panel specific uplink power control. A method may include receiving, at a user equipment, an uplink grant indicating an uplink candidate beam for uplink transmission; receiving, at the user equipment, a plurality of power control configurations, wherein one of a plurality of sources of spatial relation information is associated with one of the plurality of power control configurations; determining, at the user equipment, a power control configuration of the plurality of power control configurations for the indicated uplink candidate beam based on an association between a source of spatial relation information and the power control configuration; and transmitting, from the user equipment, uplink data using the indicated uplink candidate beam and the determined power control configuration.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for control channel monitoring. In some example embodiments, there may be provided a method that includes receiving, at the user equipment, an indication of a codepoint activation, wherein the codepoint activation indicates that a transmission configuration indicator state being activated is associated with a second physical cell identifier different from a first physical cell identifier of a serving cell of the user equipment; and in response to the transmission configuration indicator state being activated in association with the second physical cell identifier, suspending control channel monitoring of at least one set of core resources associated with the first physical cell identifier of the serving cell of the user equipment.     Abstract: A UE determines a PMI, by performing at least the following: determining an intermediate set of vectors from a FD codebook; forming a subset of the intermediate set of vectors; mapping the subset of vectors to a combinatorial indicator; and forming the PMI at least from the combinatorial indicator. The UE sends the PMI toward a wireless network. A base station receives the PMI from the UE. The PMI includes a combinatorial indicator that maps to a subset of vectors from the FD codebook. The base station determines, using at least the received PMI, information from at least the FD codebook to apply to data for transmission toward the UE.

    Abstract: The specification and drawings present methods and apparatuses for feedback signaling for beamforming purposes in a multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) radio environment. According to an embodiment of the invention, a mobile device is configured to measure an integer number P of different beam groups, each group representing one or more transmit beams and each group corresponding to one or more antenna ports at the mobile device. The mobile device is triggered according to the configuration to provide feedback. The radio access node transmits reference signals on each of the transmit beams across all of the groups for measurement by the mobile device and receives the triggered feedback including, for each of the different beam groups, at least one best match between a transmit beam of the respective group and a corresponding antenna port and an indication of measurement results for the best match.

    Abstract: A method comprises: configuring multiple reporting modes for multi-level based transmitter (TX) beam index reporting for a particular beam/antenna panel group from a plurality of beam/antenna groups, wherein the multiple reporting modes includes at least one of a full reporting mode configuration for the particular beam/antenna panel group, a full reporting mode configuration common for the plurality of beam/antenna panel groups, a differential reporting mode, and a partial reporting mode, selecting a reporting mode from the multiple reporting modes, and sending a report based on the selected reporting mode.
