    Abstract: This document discloses a solution where power management of devices of a wireless networks are controlled in connection with an absence period. According to an aspect, an apparatus determines at least one allowable power management mode for at least a second apparatus; causes transmission of a first frame indicating the at least one allowable power management mode; and causes transmission of an indication of an absence period during which it is not possible to transfer frames with the apparatus, wherein the indication is provided in at least one of the first frame and a second frame. The first frame configures at least the second apparatus to be ready to communicate with the apparatus at the end of the absence period in a case where the at least one allowable power management mode indicates a first power management mode.

    Abstract: A node configured to support a method of communicating between two nodes in the unlicensed spectrum is disclosed where a channel can be simultaneously used for downlink and uplink communication. The method performed at a node involves assessing at that node, for example, a UE, that there is a transmission to be made to a further node, for example a gNB. The first node receives an indication that communication with the further node is supportable on a channel within an unlicensed spectrum using flexible frequency division duplex (FDD) techniques. The first node determines whether transmission by the further node is being made within a first portion of the channel within the unlicensed spectrum; and if so, transmits to the further node within a second portion of the channel which does not overlap with the first.

    Abstract: According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method, comprising: establishing, via a main radio, a data link schedule comprising a plurality of communication resource periods for a data link between a first wireless device and a second wireless device, wherein at least a sub-set of the plurality of communication resource periods are scheduled to start periodically, pausing data transmission by transferring, via the main radio, a control message during a communication resource period of the data link schedule, entering the power save mode in response to transferring the control message, maintaining the power save mode over at least one further communication resource period of the data link schedule, and transmitting a wake-up frame, via a wake-up radio different from the main radio, in response to detecting need for further data transmission during the data link schedule.
