    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a solid-state image pickup device capable of preventing any output variation due to a threshold voltage variation, and preventing a dynamic range from being narrowed in conjunction with deterioration in outputs due to a lowered threshold voltage. The present invention provides improvements in type and connection of a reset transistor, a select transistor, and an amplifier transistor to achieve the above object. Specifically, the present invention provides a solid-state image pickup device comprising a first MOS transistor serving as a reset switch, a second MOS transistor serving as a select switch, a photodiode, and a third MOS transistor having a source connected in series with the photodiode. In this solid-state image pickup device, the first and second MOS transistors are connected in series with one another between a voltage source and an output end, and the photodiode and the third MOS transistor are connected in series with one another between a voltage source and a ground. Further, the connection point between the first and second MOS transistors is connected to the gate of the third MOS transistor.

    摘要: The presence or absence of methylation of C's in CpG dinucleotide in a sample DNA that contains a target sequence including the CpG dinucleotide is detected as follows. Multiple kinds of capture oligonucleotides immobilized on a base material and including: an oligonucleotide having a nucleotide sequence complimentary to or identical to a nucleotide sequence corresponding to the target sequence in which all of C's other than C's in the all of CpG dinucleotide are replaced with T's; and an oligonucleotide having a nucleotide sequence complimentary to or identical to a nucleotide sequence corresponding to the target sequence in which all of C's are replaced with T's are hybridized with the sample DNA in which non-methylated C's have been converted into U's by deamination or an amplification product thereof, and the presence or absence of methylation is detected based on the result of the hybridization.

    摘要: Three genes encoding secretory membrane proteins have been successfully isolated from an osteoblast-like cell line by a method for specifically cloning secretory membrane proteins. One of these genes encodes a novel receptor protein. The protein has only the extracellular region, binds to the cell membrane via a GPI anchor, and carries therein a cysteine-rich, repetitive region commonly conserved in the TNF receptor super family. Overexpression of this protein in osteoblast-like cell line cells suppresses cell proliferation, changes cell morphology, and increases alkaline phosphatase activity, which is one of markers for differentiation of osteoblasts.
