摘要: [PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] An HTML: object or the like is easily uploaded to an outer information providing system. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A processing means of a terminal device adds a display area for displaying a web page to a part of a window of a predetermined program, receives the web page corresponding to a web page identifier read out from a memory means from an outer information providing system and displays it on the display area. When an object dragged by an input means is dropped at an HTML object of the web page displayed on the display area, an upload path associated with the HTML object is read out from the web page, data corresponding to the dropped object are acquired from a process of the dropping origin program and the acquired data are transmitted to make a memory means of the outer information providing system corresponding to the read-out upload path store the data.

摘要: The invention provides a data-recording medium, a data-displaying apparatus, a data-providing apparatus and a data-providing system, each of which is useful in the course of exchanging information with other people through communications means such as telephone lines or dedicated lines, radio waves or optical communication. The medium, data-displaying apparatus, data-providing apparatus and data-providing system may be of the type that is user-friendly in, for example, applying an entry for a prize contest or a lottery or reservation by using a novel icon that makes it easy for the user to access data sources, retrieve data from the sources and file the data.An application menu is contained in the information related to the primary icon, the secondary icon or any lower-order icon displayed in the second management region (50a). When the application menu is selected, a computer performs a prescribed process, displaying a data sheet in the first management region (12a). When prescribed data is written in the data sheet, thereby making a reservation. Then, the computer has access to a data-providing server (4C) and acquires a result-obtaining icon (103a) selected on the basis of the conditions stored in the data-providing server (4C). The result-obtaining icon is displayed in the second management region (50a).

摘要: [PROBLEMS] To pass long data which cannot be passed conventionally by the GET method, by using the GET method.[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] [1] Long data which cannot be passed by the GET method is read from storage means, divided into a plurality of data pieces of the length which can be passed by the GET method, and stored in storage means. [2] A number of program execution regions corresponding to the number of the divided data pieces are generated. [3] The data pieces stored in the storage means are distributed to the generated program execution regions by the GET method. [4] In the respective program execution regions which have received the data pieces by the GET method, transfer programs are executed and the respective transfer programs search regions for executing a program performing coupling. [5] The data pieces are passed to the regions for executing the program performing coupling of the data searched from the respective transfer programs. [6] In the program execution regions which have received the data pieces, the coupling program is executed so that the coupling program couples the respective data pieces to reproduce data of the length which cannot be passed by the GET method and stores it in the storage means.

摘要: Contents can be made public or private, when to be switched so, by designating a common file identifier before and after the switching. An information providing system reads a second file identifier related to a first file identifier, from a storage device (S25). The information providing system moves, in case it receives a request for making the contents public, the contents corresponding to the second file identifier read, to a public area, and moves, in case it receives a request for making the contents private, the same to a private area (S30). According to the stored place of the contents moved, the information providing system changes the second file identifier, and stores the same in the storage device in a correlation between the first file identifier received and the second file identifier changed (S35).

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to enable displaying of a desired Web page and also displaying of a Web page including a menu bar without first displaying a predetermined Web page which a user does not want on a second display area of the Web browser, and also to execute a content based on the content execution request accepted from a content execution input unit of the menu bar. In order to solve this object, processing means extract a portion from which a self-domain 211 is removed from the Web page identifier received from an external terminal device as a second Web page identifier. Next, the processing means newly create an information browsing screen configuration file, store information browsing screen configuration information 212 in the information browsing screen configuration file, also store a first Web page identifier 213 and a first display area identifier 214 in a correlated manner, and also store the extracted second Web page identifier and a second display area identifier 215 in a correlated manner.

摘要: To realize virtual surround reproduction with small deterioration in the SN ratio of an entire reproduction system, in the case of adding together virtual surround signals and front-channel audio signals in an adder 1300, volume normalization is carried out in a volume normalizing section 1200 before the addition. In the case where the addition is not performed, the virtual surround signals and the front-channel audio signals are output independently of each other without being subjected to volume normalization in the volume normalizing section 1200.

摘要: This invention relates to a water-soluble fiber and a method of manufacturing the fiber. The water-soluble fiber of the invention is composed of a high molecular compound with a weight average molecular weight of not less than 10,000, which high molecular compound is obtainable by reacting a polyalkylene oxide compound, which is obtainable by addition polymerization of an ethylene oxide-containing alkylene oxide and an organic compound containing two active hydrogen atoms, with a polycarboxylic acid, an anhydride thereof, a lower alkyl ester thereof, or a diisocyanate and is manufactured by spinning the same high molecular compound. The water-soluble fiber of the invention is not only high in elongation and tensile strength but is readily soluble in water.
