    摘要: In a slew rate limiter, a slew rate is limited so as not to pass a signal varying more abruptly than a wobble signal included in a difference signal generated by a differential amplifier, and this limited slew rate is used to process the difference signal to be outputted. That is, the slew rate limiter removes a signal varying more abruptly than a wobble signal included in a difference signal DIFO, and then outputs only the wobble signal. A DAC generates an offset voltage. An adder is used to add this offset voltage to the wobble signal from the slew rate limiter. The signal obtained by this addition as a slice level is compared by a comparator with the difference signal, thereby reproducing an LPP signal.

    摘要: A driving method for a solid state image pickup device, having four or more transfer stages as one transfer unit, includes reading signal charge from the charge accumulation regions to the vertical charge transfer channels. The reading step includes (b-1) applying the barrier forming voltage to a first transfer electrode to form a barrier of at least one stage per the transfer unit; (b-2) applying the read pulse to a second transfer electrode to read signal charge from a corresponding charge accumulation region to a corresponding vertical charge transfer channel; and (b-3) applying a cancellation pulse to a third transfer electrode spaced by at least one transfer stage from the first transfer electrode, the cancellation pulse cancelling out a potential change in the charge accumulation region to be caused by the read pulse.

    摘要: In a slew rate limiter, a slew rate is limited in such a manner that passage of a signal which changes more steeply than a wobble signal included in a differential signal generated in a differential amplifier can be prevented, and the differential signal is processed with the slew rate so as to be outputted. That is, a signal which changes more steeply than the wobble signal included in the differential signal DIFO is removed, thereby enabling only the wobble signal to be outputted from the slew rate limiter. An offset voltage which is generated by a DAC, is also added by an adder to the wobble signal from the slew rate limiter and thereafter the differential signal is compared in a comparator with the addition signal as a slice level, for reproducing a LPP signal.

    摘要: It is intended to provide a method of quantifying a nucleic acid and a kit for quantifying a nucleic acid. More specifically, it is intended to provide a standard comprising a synthetic polynucleotide obtained by chemical synthesis which is to be used for forming a calibration curve employed for quantifying a specific target nucleic acid in a sample, a quantification method and a quantification kit using the same, a method of diagnosing a specific disease, etc. The standard is a synthetic polynucleotide obtained by chemical synthesis. Compared with the existing standards comprising biosynthesized polynucleotides, it has an advantage that a target sequence can be precisely obtained by a convenient method. Moreover, the above-described standard suffers from little biological contamination. Therefore, it is highly safe to the environment and factors disturbing highly precise quantification can be lessened therein.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for repairing short circuits between electrodes of a multi-color organic light-emitting display device. A multi-color organic light-emitting display device having a color-converting filter section is provided. Then a short-circuited part between electrodes in the device is eliminated by irradiating the short-circuited part with a laser beam. The laser irradiation is carried out from the side of the device on which the color-converting filter section is not present. The method is carried out in an environment in which the moisture content is below a certain threshold value such as a vacuum or a dry nitrogen atmosphere.
