    摘要: A process for oligomerizing a Fischer-Tropsch derived feed containing oxygenates which comprises (a) reducing significantly the oxygenates present in the Fischer-Tropsch derived feed by contacting said feed with a hydrotreating catalyst under hydrotreating conditions in a hydrotreating zone and recovering from the hydrotreating zone a Fischer-Tropsch derived hydrotreated feed which contains a significantly reduced amount of oxygenates as compared to the Fischer-Tropsch derived feed and also a significant amount of paraffins; (b) pyrolyzing the Fischer-Tropsch derived hydrotreated feed in a thermal cracking zone under thermal cracking conditions pre-selected to crack the paraffin molecules to form olefins and collecting an olefin-enriched Fischer-Tropsch feed from the thermal cracking zone; (c) contacting the olefin-enriched Fischer-Tropsch feed with a Lewis acid ionic liquid catalyst in an oligomerization zone under oligomerization reaction conditions; and (d) recovering from the oligomerization zone a Fischer-Tropsch derived product having molecules characterized by a higher average molecular weight and increased branching as compared to the Fischer-Tropsch derived feed.

Various features of such a remote camera positioning and control system are disclosed. The positioner can include one or more beam modules having cross-sectional flexural rigidity that varies along the length of the beam module(s) by use, for example, of stiffening longerons, anchoring braces and relatively low density stabilizing webs. The camera can be mounted to the beam module by a front end assembly that is constructed to place the center of mass of the camera and the front end assembly along the neutral axis of the beam module over as great a range of motion as possible. The system can also include a handle module that incorporates, for example, an axially and rotationally moveable grip and a proximal handle grip ring and control cage for surrounding a camera control, such as a joystick. Auxiliary subsystems, such as a monitor, video recorder and battery packs can optionally be worn by the operator using a support garment, such has a vest.

    摘要: Olefins and alcohols present in Fischer-Tropsch light naphthas are converted to dialkyl ethers of the formula: R—O—R′ where R and R′ are each primarily non-tertiary alkyl groups of more than four carbon atoms, via hydration of the olefins to alcohols followed by dehydration of the alcohols. Ethers may also form by direct reaction of olefins and alcohols. The ethers are separated from the remaining paraffins in the naphtha by distillation and added in an amount of 1-25 wt. % to paraffinic mid-distillate fuel components obtained by hydrotreating a Fischer-Tropsch product. The properties of the distillate fuel components such as lubricity and seal swell are improved by the dialkyl ethers. The removal of olefins and alcohols from the naphthas reduces refining and lead to a more salable product.

In some aspects the particles comprise alumina of between about 1.0 microns to about 40.0 microns and colloidal alumina particles that are between about 1.0 nm to about 10.0 nm. The coating is applied by contacting the filter body especially the inlet channels of the filter body with a washout that includes the different sized particles and at least one catalyst that facilitates the conversion of soot particles into gases.
