Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine, during a multi-slot downlink transmission, that a mapping from a transmission configuration information (TCI) state index to a first TCJ state configuration has changed to a second TCJ state configuration. The UE may select, based at least in part on the determined change, the first TCJ state configuration or the second TCJ state configuration to use for at least a portion of the multi-slot downlink transmission. The UE may receive the multi-slot downlink transmission during one or more slots according to the selected TCJ state configuration and the TCJ state index.

Abstract: In multi-beam communication, the UE may assist in the scheduling of beams utilized during the multi-beam communication by improving the manner in which the quality of the beam is reported to the network. The apparatus may measure a signal received from a base station on at least one beam. The apparatus may detect a triggering event for providing CSI for the at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an uplink transmission comprising a CSI report in response to detecting the triggering event. The apparatus may receive an uplink request from a UE for providing CSI for at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an indication scheduling a CSI report in response to the uplink request. The apparatus may receive an uplink transmission from the UE comprising the CSI report for the at least one beam.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify time and frequency resources for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) in a first transmission time interval (TTI). The base station may transmit configuration information for a control channel search space set in a second TTI. The second TTI may precede the first TTI. The configuration information may include an indication of an absence of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission to send in the control channel search space set indicating the identified time and frequency resources for the PDSCH, and a set of time and frequency resources for the control channel search space set. The UE may receive the configuration information and identify the time and frequency resources allocated for the PDSCH in the second TTI, and receive the PDSCH transmission in the second TTI.

The device can generate a pseudo lidar point cloud using the depth estimates of the one or more pixels of the one or more frames of camera data, wherein the pseudo lidar point cloud comprises a three-dimensional representation of at least one frame of the one or more frames of camera data. The device can determine one or more object bounding boxes based on the radar point cloud and the pseudo lidar point cloud.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for per transmission configuration channel sensing. A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) generally includes monitoring a plurality of dummy physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmissions from at least one base station (BS). The dummy PDCCH transmissions use a different transmission configuration. The UE sends acknowledgment feedback for the plurality of dummy PDCCH transmission. The ACK feedback for the dummy PDCCH transmissions may be multiplexed with ACK feedback to the at least one BS for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions. A UE may receive a configuration reserving one or more bits in a UE codebook for providing the ACK feedback. Each reserved bit may be for control resource sets associated with a transmission configuration. The UE monitors PDDCH transmissions using different transmission configurations and uses the reserved bits to transmit ACK feedback for the PDCCH transmissions.

Abstract: A configurable new radio (NR) resource scheduling and indication transmission procedure that may be executed by a base station and a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. For example, a base station may determine a number of synchronization signal blocks available for transmission of non-scheduling data, and transmit an indication signifying at least one of the number of synchronization signal blocks or a location of each of the number of synchronization signal blocks. Further, a UE may receiving an indication signifying at least one of a number of synchronization signal blocks or a location of each of the number of synchronization signal blocks. The UE may further determine one or more resource elements forming the number of synchronization signal blocks where non-scheduling data has been scheduled for transmission. The UE may receive the non-scheduling data within the one or more resource elements forming the number of synchronization signal blocks.

Specifically, the present disclosure provides techniques to allow the base station to group a plurality of mmW beams for communication with the user equipment (UE) such that the selected beam(s) for communication are independent and uncorrelated. The selection of beams ensure macro-diversity in that the joint blocking probability of the selected beam(s) may be minimized and the susceptibility to blockage is reduced in comparison to the current systems.
