    摘要: Some embodiments provide methods of obtaining data from a portion of a subterranean formation comprising providing proppant particulates wherein at least a portion of the proppant particulates are coated with an electroconductive resin that comprises a resin and a conductive material; placing the proppant particulates into a portion of a fracture so as to form an electroconductive proppant pack; providing a transmitter capable of sending an electric current into the electroconductive proppant pack; sending an electric current into the electroconductive proppant pack with the transmitter; providing a receiver capable of deflecting a reflected or conducted electric signal from the electroconductive proppant pack; and, receiving a reflected electric signal with the receiver. Other embodiments provide electroconductive proppant packs comprising proppant particulates wherein a portion of the proppant particulates are coated with an electroconductive resin and wherein the electroconductive resin comprises a resin and a conductive material.

Some embodiments of the present invention provide methods of treating a portion of a subterranean formation comprising providing a nanocomposite particulate comprising at least one resin and at least one nanoparticle material; substantially slurrying the nanocomposite particulate into a servicing fluid to create a slurry; and, placing the slurry a well bore penetrating the portion of the subterranean formation. Other embodiments of the present invention provide nanocomposite particulates suitable for use in a subterranean application comprising at least one resin and at least one nanoparticle material wherein the nanocomposite particulate comprises from about 0.1% to about 30% nanoparticle material by weight of the nanocomposite particulate.

    摘要: The present invention involves methods of preparing coated particulates and using such coated particulates in subterranean applications such as production enhancement and sand control. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method of preparing coated particulates comprising the steps of coating particulates with a resin or a tackifying agent to create pre-coated particulates; and, covering the pre-coated particulates with a partitioning agent to create coated particulates. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation comprising the steps of providing coated particulates made by a method comprising the steps of substantially coating particulates with a resin or a tackifying agent to create pre-coated particulates; and, substantially covering the pre-coated particulates with a partitioning agent to create coated particulates; substantially slurrying the coated particulates in a servicing fluid to create a coated particulate slurry; and, placing the coated particulate slurry into the subterranean formation.

One embodiment of the present invention provides a method of fracturing a subterranean formation, comprising providing a fracturing fluid comprising proppant particulates at least partially coated with a hardenable resin composition that comprises a hardenable resin component and a hardening agent component, wherein the hardenable resin component comprises a hardenable resin and wherein the hardening agent component comprises a hardening agent, a silane coupling agent, and a surfactant; introducing the fracturing fluid into at least one fracture within the subterranean formation; depositing at least a portion of the proppant particulates in the fracture; allowing at least a portion of the proppant particulates in the fracture to form a proppant pack; and, allowing at least a portion of the hardenable resin composition to migrate from the proppant particulates to a fracture face.

Some embodiments of the present invention provide methods of creating a permeable resinous mass comprising the steps of selecting an interval along a well bore; providing a resin slurry comprising an acid curable resin, filler, and degradable material; placing the resin slurry into the selected interval; and, activating the acid curable resin using an activator wherein the activation causes the acid curable resin to substantially cure, the degradable material to substantially degrade, and forms the permeable resinous mass.
