Abstract: A method and a system for providing a Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) service, in which when multiple counterpart devices are selected based on manufacturer information and support information on supported functions and capability defined in a service information field of each beacon message or each probe response message, a final device is determined by checking multiple pieces of signal information of the selected counterpart devices, are provided. The method includes receiving messages from multiple counterpart devices, selecting one or more counterpart devices, each of which supports a requested service, from an identical manufacturer when the messages are received, checking multiple pieces of signal information of the selected counterpart devices when the number of the selected counterpart devices is greater than one, and determining a device having the signal information satisfying set conditions as a final device.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for estimating a target component, the apparatus including a temperature controller configured to modulate temperature of an object, a measurer configured to measure a spectrum for each temperature of the object that changes based on the modulation, and a processor configured to obtain effective optical pathlength vectors corresponding to a temperature change based on the spectrum for each temperature of the object, obtain a representative effective optical pathlength based on the obtained effective optical pathlength vectors, and obtain a target component estimation model based on the obtained representative effective optical pathlength.

Abstract: An apparatus for measuring a spectrum includes a light source array configured to emit light towards an object, a photodetector configured to detect light reflected by the object; and a processor configured to measure, using the light source array and the photodetector, a plurality of temperature correction spectra based on a temperature change of the light source array, obtain a light source temperature drift vector by analyzing the measured plurality of temperature correction spectra, measure, using the light source array and the photodetector, an analysis spectrum by using the light source array and the photodetector, and adjust the measured analysis spectrum to reduce an effect of the temperature change of the light source array by using the obtained light source temperature drift vector.

Abstract: Provided are a dish washing machine and a controlling method thereof. When water is sprayed from a nozzle while a vane is positioned at a reference position during a drainage operation, since a deflection angle of the vane is bent back and the water is sprayed toward a rear wall of a washing tub, the water forms a fast and strong water current over a bottom plate of the washing tub to remove garbage which remains at a filter while flowing over the bottom of the washing tub. Accumulation at a filter at a top end of a sump and that may block the filter during washing such as preliminary washing, main washing, etc., is washed, thereby eliminating the inconvenience of having to separate and wash the filter, and effectively improves performance by avoiding poor circulation of water that may occur due to a filter blockage or generation of bubbles.

Abstract: A semiconductor device includes an alignment key on a substrate. The alignment key includes a first sub-alignment key pattern with a first conductive pattern, a second conductive pattern, and a capping dielectric pattern that are sequentially stacked on the substrate, an alignment key trench that penetrates at least a portion of the first sub-alignment key pattern, and a lower conductive pattern in the alignment key trench. Abstract: A mobile device and method for performing a function using a short-range communication tag are provided. In the method, the mobile device inputs function-related information into a short-range communication tag, and recognizes proximity to or contact with the short-range communication tag. Then the mobile device reads the function-related information from the short-range communication tag, and performs a function correlated with the function-related information. This allows performing various functions of the mobile device, only depending on a user's action to bring the mobile device in proximity to or contact with the Near Field Communication (NFC) tag.
