[Object] To prevent elements in a pack main body and an electronic apparatus from malfunctioning even if the pack main body having an outer shape line-symmetric in up and down directions and left- and right-hand directions is incorrectly attached.[Solving Means] There are provided a pack main body 11 installing the battery cell 29 and a terminal portion 12 constituted of a plus terminal 12a, a minus terminal 12b, and a control terminal 12c that are provided on a front surface 11c of the pack main body 11. The plus terminal 12a, the minus terminal 12b, and the control terminal 12c are provided so as to be deviated to one end portion 11f in a width direction of the front surface 11c and arranged in an order of the plus terminal 12a, the control terminal 12c, and the minus terminal 12b. The sizes of the control terminal 12c, the plus terminal 12a, and the minus terminal 12b are increased in an order of the control terminal 12c, the plus terminal 12a, and the minus terminal 12b such that the control terminal 12c is formed to be the smallest. While being attachable to various electronic apparatuses, the pack main body can ensure a sufficient mechanical strength.

Into a current-voltage conversion unit, a single-end current signal which is a photoelectrically converted optical signal is input. The current-voltage conversion unit converts the single-end current signal into a single-end voltage signal and outputs the converted signal from an output terminal.An input terminal of an amplifier unit is connected to the output terminal of the current-voltage conversion unit. The amplifier unit amplifies the single-end voltage signal to predetermined amplitude set in advance and outputs the amplified signal from an output terminal. Then, an input terminal of a differential conversion unit is connected to the output terminal of the amplifier unit. The differential conversion unit outputs a differential voltage signal which is a differentiated single-end voltage signal amplified in the amplifier unit. The present technique can be applied, for example, to an optical transmission system.

The present disclosure relates to user equipment for, a communication method of, a program for, and a communication system for starting wireless communication among pieces of user equipment without placing operational load on a user. In the communication system according to the present disclosure, child equipment includes a detection module that detects different user equipment and performs authentication processing with the different user equipment that is detected, a notification module that notifies the parent equipment of identification information indicating the different user equipment that has been authenticated, and a communication module that performs the wireless communication with the different user equipment that is caused to belong to the group that is managed by the parent equipment, and the parent equipment includes an obtainment module that obtains the identification information which is notified from the child equipment, and an authentication module that, if there is a connection request from different user equipment that does not belong to the group, authenticates connection of the different user equipment that does not belong to the group, based on the identification information that is notified from the child equipment. The present disclosure, for example, can be applied to the user equipment that performs the wireless communication according to Wi-Fi Direct.

The present disclosure relates to a server apparatus, a base station, and a terminal apparatus as well as a communication system that make it possible to implement stabilized communication against a fluctuation of a communication environment in a wireless LAN by switching a base station taking an event into consideration. An application server delivers information relating to an event, which differs for each base station depending upon an installed position, to a terminal apparatus through a base station together with base station information including communication quality and functions of the base station. The terminal apparatus selects a base station with which connection should be established, on the basis of the event information and the base station information and switches the connection. The present disclosure can be applied to a communication system in a wireless LAN.

Information regarding a correspondence between a clock that manages a time of the main control unit and a clock that manages a time of the wireless control unit is wirelessly sent to another wireless apparatus by the wireless control unit. This information regarding the correspondence includes information regarding a difference between the two clocks, information regarding a granularity ratio of the two clocks, and the like. For example, the wireless control unit sends the information regarding the correspondence as a part of a frame for measuring the time of the wireless control unit with respect to the other wireless apparatus or a part of a frame for connecting to the other wireless apparatus.
