Abstract:
A client connected to a communication network performs an access request to an object. An application server performs an application by an actual object according to the client request. An object pool connected to the client and the application server pools a proxy object corresponding to the actual object and holds the actual object management information. The application server notifies the object pool of an event according to the status change of the application. The object pool automatically updates the actual object management information according to the notification of the event from the application server.

Abstract:
In order to make sure that a user does not attempt to build an invalid database query in which tables are incorrectly joined on fields that cannot be joined due to an incompatibility of data types, after the user selects a source data field the incompatible target data fields which cannot be joined with the selected source data field are determined automatically and displayed distinctly differently in a target list box of possible target data field names, such as in a different color.
Abstract:
A resource allocation control unit is provided between the despreading process unit and the channel decoding process unit of a radio base station receiver, and a resource for a channel decoding process is allocated only when there is actually user communication data in a communication service that is not of a continuous data communication under control of the resource allocation control unit. Thereby, the number of resources of the channel decoding process unit is smaller than the number of resources for despreading processes corresponding to the number of users that can receive the services simultaneously.
Abstract:
A voltage memory stores a signal level of a transmission signal from a signal generator at a timing of a clock signal, and outputs the transmission signal. A voltage difference detector detects a signal level of a transmission signal at a timing subsequent to the timing and detects a first signal level difference between the signal level and the signal level from the voltage memory. A maximum value detector, a voltage difference detector and bias voltage sources delay the transmission signal so as to keep a rise time of the transmission signal substantially within a predetermined value range by adding capacitances corresponding to the first signal level differences from the voltage difference detectors to transmission lines.
Abstract:
The present invention provides display apparatus including: liquid crystal panel for displaying left and right images; liquid crystal driver for writing image signal into liquid crystal panel; backlight source for radiating light to liquid crystal panel; and controller for controlling backlight source so that it emit the light during first emission periods which are set for left viewing period while left image is viewed with left and right viewing periods while right image is viewed with right eye, respectively, wherein controller controls backlight source so that it emits the light during second emission period within non-viewing period, during which none image is viewed, and sets turn-off period during which backlight source is turned off between first and second emission periods.
Abstract:
Provided is a backlight device, wherein when both the drive duty and the drive current are controlled in each of separated areas, the image quality is improved by preventing the change of luminance even when there is a difference between the adjustment resolutions of both the drive duty and the drive current. A light-emitting unit (121) comprises a plurality of light-emitting areas. A motion amount detecting unit (131) detects the motion amount of an image in each of a plurality of motion areas each corresponding to at least one or more light-emitting areas. A drive condition specifying unit specifies a drive condition including the duty and pulse height value of a drive pulse for causing each of the plurality of light-emitting areas to emit light, on the basis of the detected motion amount. A drive unit drives each of the plurality of light-emitting areas according to the specified drive condition. With one of the duty and the pulse height value of the drive pulse, the adjustment resolution of which of the drive unit with respect to the light emission luminance is lower, as a first parameter and the other the adjustment resolution of which is higher as a second parameter, the drive condition specifying unit determines the value of the first parameter on the basis of the detected motion amount, and thereafter determines the value of the second parameter on the basis of the determined value of the first parameter.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal drive unit performs overdrive processing such that when driving a liquid crystal panel so as to increase a brightness toward a target brightness determined by a left-eye video signal or a right-eye video signal, the liquid crystal drive unit drives the liquid crystal panel in accordance with a drive amount corresponding to a brightness of not less than the target brightness and, when driving the liquid crystal panel so as to reduce the brightness toward the target brightness, the liquid crystal drive unit drives the liquid crystal panel in accordance with a drive amount corresponding to a brightness of not more than the target brightness. In the overdrive processing, the drive amount corresponding to the same target brightness differs depending on a scanning position on a display screen of the liquid crystal panel.
