    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to liquid crystal display technology, and more particularly to a double-sided display. The double-sided display includes a first display panel, a second display panel parallel to the first display panel, and a backlight module between the first display panel and the second display panel. The backlight module includes a first optical film and a second optical film respectively arranged at internal sides of the first display panel and the second display panel, and a light guiding layer between the first optical film and the second optical film. The light guiding layer includes a first dot reflective layer and a second dot reflective layer parallel to each other, at least one light reflecting component and a light source arranged within the light reflective component. The first dot reflective layer, the second dot reflective layer and the light reflective components cooperatively form a light guiding chamber. The double-sided display includes the edge-type backlight without adopting a light guiding plate. The light beams may be guided via the air such that the double-sided display may be thinner and lighter.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a display method of a multi-primary color graphene display device. The method includes the steps of: dividing a pixel color gamut into color patches; determining a color patch to which a pixel chromaticity coordinate belongs; displaying through three dynamic sub-pixels according to the color patch to which the pixel chromaticity coordinate belongs; and determining output brightness of the dynamic sub-pixels by coordinates of a white point, coordinates of the dynamic sub-pixels, an output brightness value when gray level 255 in red is input, an output brightness value when gray level 255 in green is input, and an output brightness value when gray level 255 in blue is input respectively. When input gray level values of RGB three pixels are approximately the same, output brightness and white chromaticity are basically close to the same, guaranteeing the consistency of the chromaticity coordinates of the white point.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a double-side display, a display module and a TFT array substrate thereof, the TFT substrate includes two graphene display units disposed opposite and a reflective layer disposed between the two graphene display units. Compared with a conventional technique, according to the double-side display, the display module and the TFT array substrate thereof, the graphene display units are disposed on the two sides of the reflective layer respectively to prevent influence between light of the two sides of the reflective layer, brightness of two display units is improved due to reflective light from the reflective layer; the structure of the double-side display is simpler, and the volume is reduced significantly, which are benefit for thinning and lightening the double-side display.

    Abstract: A backlight unit of high light coupling efficiency including a light guide plate, a first light source component and a second light source component disposed beside two neighboring side walls of the light guide plate, and a heat dissipation element that contacts a first substrate of the first light source component and a second substrate of the second light source component simultaneously and is disposed on a bottom of the light guide plate. The backlight unit of the present disclosure can effectively dissipate heat generated during the operation of the light source components, thereby avoiding the mura phenomenon caused by a change of a light coupling distance due to the expansion of the light guide plate because of overheating.

    Abstract: A backlight module includes a back plate having a side wall, a light guide plate disposed on the back plate and having a light incident surface, a light source disposed on the sidewall and adjacent to the light incident surface, a middle frame overlying the light guide plate and the light source, a first latching member disposed on a side of the middle frame facing toward the back plate and having a first groove, a second latching member disposed on a side of the back plate facing toward the middle frame and having a second groove, and a quantum bar, one end of which is latched in the first groove and the other end is latched in the second groove. The present invention also provides a LCD including the backlight module. The fixing manner of the quantum bar is simple and the cost is reduced.

    Abstract: A backlight module is disclosed. The backlight module includes an ambient light collector for collecting ambient lights, at least one optical fiber connecting to the ambient light collector, a light emitting plate arranged closely to an optical plate, at least one fixing sleeve being received in the through hole, and at least one optical fiber sleeve. The light emitting plate includes a plurality of through holes. The optical fiber sleeve is fixed within the fixing sleeve and engages with the light emitting ends of the optical fibers to fix the optical fibers on the light emitting plate. The backlight module utilizes the ambient lights as light source. In addition, by cutting the light emitting end of the optical fibers, the light emitting angle of the lights are greatly enlarged. As such, the brightness difference is decreased and the display performance is enhanced.
