    摘要: There is provide a cover member which is pivotally connected to a vehicle floor near a rear end of a seat cushion at its lower end and to a seat back at its upper end. The seat back is supported by the cover member so as to move forward and be located in its rising position in front of the seat cushion and behind a front seat located before the rear seat according to a forward rotation of the cover member via the lower end pivotal connection to the vehicle floor. The cover member covers substantially an upper face of the seat cushion and provide a substantially flat and horizontal face at the vehicle rear in cooperation with a floor of the load compartment when the seat back has moved forward.

    摘要: To achieve downsizing and weight reduction of a derailleur shaft and the mounting structure thereof and to improve the rigidity of the derailleur shaft without increasing the thickness thereof more than necessary. A transmission case is divided into left and right halves, and the left and right halves are provided with bosses therein having holes opposing each other. The bosses are brought into abutment with each other and united by fitting tightening bolts to the holes of the bosses and tightening the same. A sleeve-shaped derailleur shaft is fitted on the outer periphery of the bosses to support and mount the derailleur shaft. The derailleur shaft includes a hole at the shaft end thereof. A mounting position of the derailleur shaft is achieved by a pin inserted into the hole and a hole provided on one of the cases.

    摘要: A transmission casing for a bicycle has sufficient strength and rigidity and has a simple structure while being capable of hermetically sealing a transmission body of the bicycle. In a transmission casing for a bicycle is covered with a casing and a plurality of transmission shafts supported by the casing. The transmission casing includes a light-metal-made reinforcing member made of aluminum, a light alloy or the like which supports shaft portions of the plurality of transmission shafts, and a fiber-reinforced-plastic-made cover member which is integrally laminated to an inner surface of the light-metal-made reinforcing member so as to hermetically seal the transmission body. The light-metal-made reinforcing member has a strength necessary for supporting the plurality of transmission shafts, and the fiber-reinforced-plastic-made cover member has a residual rigidity by subtracting rigidity obtained by the metal-made-reinforcing member from the rigidity necessary for preventing the deformation of the whole casing.

    摘要: A constant-mesh transmission having a synchronizing mechanism, the synchronizing mechanism including a fifth gear which acts as a shifter so as to rotate integrally with a counter shift and movably in the axial direction, a recess formed in a first gear, and a synchronizer ring. A first connection spline formed in the outer circumferential wall face of the recess and a first synchronization spline formed in the outer circumferential face of the synchronizer ring have a predetermined overlap portion, whereby they overlap partly in the axial direction. In the fifth gear, a second connection spline meshes with the first connection spline and a second synchronization spline presses the first synchronization spline in the axial direction to make the synchronizer ring and the first gear come into frictional engagement with each other.

    摘要: A multistage transmission includes a lost motion mechanism for regulating the operation for a downward shift in acceleration and for an upward shift in deceleration. Regulating rods are integrally moved with a control rod. A cutout into which a pin can be fitted together with a cam groove of the slidingly touched cam rod is formed corresponding to each cam groove in the regulating rods. The cutout of the regulating rods corresponding to the cam groove of the cam rod for normal rotation is formed longer than the corresponding cam groove on the reverse side to a moving direction of the control rod in an upward shift in a state in which shifted speed is established. The cutout of the regulating rods corresponding to the cam groove of the cam rod for reverse rotation is formed longer than the corresponding cam groove on the reverse side to a moving direction.
