摘要: A low-molecular-weight water-soluble elastin having a molecular weight of about 10,000 to 30,000 and a high-molecular-weight water-soluble elastin having a molecular weight of about 30,000 to 300,000 are provided, 79% to 84% of the constituent amino acids of the elastin comprising proline, glycine, alanine, and valine, 2% to 3% comprising aspartic acid and glutamic acid, 0.7% to 1.3% comprising lysine, histidine, and arginine, and 0.2% to 0.4% comprising desmosine and isodesmosine. The low-molecular-weight water-soluble elastin that is obtained may be used in a functional food or a medicine. Such a high-purity water-soluble elastin may be produced by obtaining pure insoluble elastin by subjecting animal body tissue to a collagen removal treatment and then fragmenting the insoluble elastin by means of a solubilizing liquid. It may be produced simply, merely by adjusting the concentration of an alkaline solution and the reaction time without recovering insoluble elastin from the animal body tissue.

摘要: A method for the manufacture of a medical wire includes manufacturing a fluororesin-coated wire and irradiating with infrared radiation. The fluororesin-coated wire is manufactured with a fluororesin-containing liquid, or fluororesin powder body being applied to the outer circumference of a superelastic alloy wire or of a resin-coated superelastic alloy wire. The fluororesin-coated wire is irradiated with a defined wavelength of infrared radiation for a defined period of time.

摘要: This invention is directed to offer a semiconductor device in which a cavity space is easily provided in a specific region when a supporting member is bonded to a semiconductor substrate through an adhesive layer, and its manufacturing method. A resist layer is applied to an entire top surface of the semiconductor substrate 2, and exposure to transfer a pattern is performed. By subsequent development and selective removal of the resist layer, the resist layer is formed into a shape of a plurality of columnar structures 4. Then, an adhesive material made of an epoxy resin or the like is applied to the entire top surface of the semiconductor substrate 2. The adhesive material is gathered around the columnar structures 4 by itself to form an adhesive layer 5. Therefore, in contrast, the adhesive layer 5 does not deposit in a region where the cavity is to be formed. Then, the supporting member 6 is bonded through the columnar structures 4 and the adhesive layer 5. By bonding the supporting member 6, there is formed the cavity 7 surrounded with the semiconductor substrate 2, the columnar structures 3 and the supporting member 6.

摘要: Disclosed is a particulate filter 10, which comprises a filter body 8 including a plurality of filter segments F1, F2 joined to each other by a joining material 7, wherein each of the filter segments includes a plurality of inflow cells each having a closed end on a downstream side in an exhaust-gas flow direction, and a plurality of outflow cells each having a closed end on an upstream side in the exhaust-gas flow direction. The filter segments include a first filter segment located in a central region of the particulate filter and designed to form each of the inflow cells to have an opening area approximately equal to that of each of the outflow cells, and a second filer segment located in at least a part of an outer peripheral region of the particulate filter and designed to form each of the inflow cells to have an opening area greater than that of each of the outflow cells. The present invention can keep the central region of the particulate filter from becoming overheated during a particulate-filter regeneration process, while suppressing a pressure loss.
