    摘要: A lock connector for normally biasing a flexible lock piece in the upward direction includes a short circuit electrode disposed on the upper surface of a female connector housing. Two lock detecting electrodes are held at positions in a male connector housing by the elastic restoring action of the flexible lock piece. Thus, a restoring operation of the flexible piece and short-circuiting between the cooperating terminals can simultaneously be achieved without any deviation from the correct timing relationship established among the components.

A crimping portion (26) is formed at a rear part of the terminal main body (21) and has crimping pieces (27) projecting from upper ends of the side walls (23) for crimped connection to the wires (70). Cutouts (28AF, 28AR) are cut into the upper end of the side wall (23) of the crimping portion (26) at front and rear sides of the front crimping piece (27F) while retaining parts of the side wall (23L) below the cutouts (28AF, 28AR).

    摘要: A male terminal fitting includes a tab that is connectable with a counterpart female terminal fitting. A tubular body is behind the tab and has an opening for receiving a lance. A barrel is behind the body and is crimped to an end portion of an electric wire. Side walls between the barrel and the tab in the longitudinal direction are hammered in to form a reduced space portion. The reduced space portion has an opening smaller than a thickness and a width of the tab to prevent the tab of another male terminal fitting from intruding through the opening and into the body. Thus, the male terminal fitting prevents the entanglement of male terminal fittings without making the structure of the male terminal fitting complicated.

    摘要: A object of the present invention is to enable a double-locking of female terminals without making a whole connector larger in size or complicating a structure thereof while maintaining fine waterproof function. A female connector C1 includes a female housing 12 for retaining a female terminal 10 and a seal member holder 16. The seal member holder 16 retains a seal member 14 having through holes 14a. When the seal member holder 16 is completely attached to the female housing 12, the seal member 14 comes in close contact with a front surface of the female housing 12. In this state, a male terminal 20 of a male connector C2 fits into the female terminal 10 so that a projecting portion 25 of the connector C1 comes in close contact with an inner surface of the through hole 14a to make terminals waterproof individually. Further, the seal member holder 16 is provided with a double-locking piece 16f in, which pursues the double locking of the female terminal 10 in the female housing 12 at the time of the complete attachment.
