    摘要: A scroll type compressor has a fixed scroll in a housing and a movable scroll opposed to the fixed scroll to define a compression chamber with the fixed scroll. Gas introduced into a suction chamber via an inlet is compressed in the compression chamber and then is discharged to a discharge chamber via a discharge port to exhaust the compressed gas from an outlet to the outside of the compressor in accordance with the circular movement of the movable scroll. A part of the discharge chamber is defined in the fixed scroll. An outlet flange protrudes from the fixed scroll. The outlet flange includes the outlet which communicates with the discharge chamber.

    摘要: In a swash plate type compressor, refrigerant in a discharge pressure region is introduced into a crank chamber through a supply passage while the refrigerant in the crank chamber is drawn out to a suction pressure region through a bleed passage for controlling pressure in the crank chamber, whereby inclination angle of a swash plate is changed. A heat-generating sliding portion is provided in the crank chamber. The supply passage includes a communication port that communicates with the crank chamber and a first throttle portion for throttling the refrigerant. At least parts of the supply passage and the bleed passage are formed in a drive shaft. A part of the bleed passage formed in the drive shaft is located between a part of the supply passage formed in the drive shaft and an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft.

    摘要: A variable displacement compressor for forming a refrigerant circuit with an external refrigerant circuit includes a housing, a drive shaft, a swash plate, a shaft seal member, a supply passage, a control valve and a gas passage. The housing has a suction chamber, a crank chamber, a discharge chamber and a shaft seal chamber formed therein. The discharge chamber is in communication with the crank chamber through the supply passage. The supply passage has the shaft seal chamber. The discharge chamber is in communication with the external refrigerant circuit through the gas passage. The supply passage is formed differently from the gas passage. A part of the supply passage is located adjacent to the suction chamber and nearer to the suction chamber than the discharge chamber.

    摘要: A variable displacement compressor includes a cylinder block and a valve plate connected to the cylinder block. The cylinder block has cylinder bores and a central supporting hole. A piston is housed in each cylinder bore to compress gas. A swash plate is connected to the pistons to convert rotation of the drive shaft into reciprocation of the pistons. A cylindrical body is housed in the supporting hole. A coil spring located in the supporting hole presses the cylindrical body toward the swash plate. The cylindrical body moves axially as the swash plate is inclined. When the swash plate is minimally inclined, the valve plate receives force from the swash plate through the cylindrical body. Therefore, axial forces from the swash plate are not exerted on the drive shaft.

A pressurizing passage connects the crank chamber to a discharge passage. A bleed passage connects the crank chamber to a suction chamber. A displacement control valve is externally controlled and varies the pressure in the crank chamber by adjusting the opening size of either the pressurizing passage or the bleed passage. A suction control valve closes a duct between the suction chamber and an evaporator when the pressure in the crank chamber exceeds a predetermined level to prevent an excessively high pressure in the crank chamber.

    摘要: A compressor has a drive plate located in a crank chamber and tiltably mounted on a drive shaft and a piston operably coupled to the drive plate and located in a cylinder bore. The inclination of the drive plate is variable according to a difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the pressure in the cylinder bore. The compressor has an adjusting mechanism for adjusting the pressure in one of the crank chamber and a suction chamber to vary the difference between the pressure in the crank chamber and the pressure in the cylinder bore. The adjusting mechanism includes a gas passage for passing the gas used for adjusting the pressure and a control valve for adjusting the amount of the gas flowing in the gas passage. The control valve includes a valve body, a reacting member and a solenoid. The valve body adjusts the opening size of the gas passage. The reacting member moves the valve body in accordance with the pressure of the gas supplied to the compressor from the external circuit. The solenoid biases the valve body in a direction with the force based on a value of current supplied to the solenoid. A supplying apparatus supplies undulating current to the solenoid. The supplying apparatus varies the average value of the undulating current to vary the biasing force of the solenoid.
