    摘要: The present document describes a distributed communication arrangement, wherein a radio access network of a wireless telecommunication system provides a terminal device with two logical communication connections. Both uplink and downlink of a first logical connection are routed between a base station and the terminal device through a relay node. Uplink of a second logical connection is also routed between the base station and the terminal device through the relay node. Downlink of the second logical connection is, however, transmitted directly from the base station to the terminal device. Such an arrangement is used for cooperative communication purposes.

    摘要: The present invention presents a solution for controlling data transmission with respect to relayed communication links in a cell of a cellular telecommunication system. A first connection is established as a relayed communication link between a first terminal device and a serving base station through a second terminal device operating as a relay terminal for the relayed communication link, and a second connection is established between the second terminal device and the serving base station. Control messages defining dynamic radio resource allocation for both first connection and second connection are used in signaling exchanged between the serving base station and the relay terminal.

    摘要: A method, apparatus, and computer program for continuing transmission during handover are presented. A communication connection is established between a source base station and a mobile relay base station comprising a distributed antenna system (DAS). The DAS includes multiple spatially distributed antenna units (DAUs), wherein at least part of the DAUs are used for forming a cluster of sub-cells within a coverage area of the mobile relay base station and at least part of the DAUs are used for communicating with a fixed cellular network infrastructure over multiple backhaul links. A first backhaul link is then handed over from the source base station to a target base station. After the handover, data transfer between the source base station and at least one backhaul link still linked to the source base station is continued, and remaining backhaul link(s) are released from the source base station according to a determined criterion.

    摘要: Attempting recovery from an unexpected radio link failure. A backup user context is created for a terminal device served currently by a relay base station relaying a radio connection between the terminal device and fixed cellular network infrastructure including a fixed base station communicating with the relay base station, wherein the backup user context is prepared for use in case of an unexpected radio link failure. Upon detection of the radio link failure in a primary user context being used in the communication, the backup user context is applied before the terminal device enters an idle state as a result of the radio link failure.
