    摘要: A pressure transducer mounting device may include a support member and a pressure transducer holder. In use, the support member may attach to a support surface, such as a housing of a power injection device, while the pressure transducer holder is moveably connected to the support member. The pressure transducer holder may expand open to receive one of a plurality of different sized pressure transducers and bias closed to hold a received one of the plurality of different sized pressure transducers. In addition, the pressure transducer holder may move relative to the support member to one of a plurality of different vertically elevated positions. The pressure transducer mounting device may accommodate different pressure transducers, providing a universal mounting device that can adapt to different medical provider preferences and different pressure transducer sourcing options.

    摘要: The present invention relates to formation of a feedthrough associated with an implantable medical device. A conductive element is formed of at least one refractory metal. A portion of the conductive element is cladded with a noble metal. A portion of the noble metal clad is removed through an electrochemical process or through a grinding operation. Alternatively, noble metal is introduced to preselected areas of the conductive element, which avoids removal of a portion of the noble metal from the conductive element.

    摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for an electrical device that employs a feedthrough including a hermetic seal that seals an interior region of the electrical device. The electrical device includes an electrical contact disposed within the interior region of the electrical device, and a wire terminal that includes an encircled portion that is encircled by the feedthrough, and a first end that electrically connects with said electrical contact. When the electrical device is constructed, the first end of the wire terminal is coated with a conductive metal that is more resistant to oxidation than the wire terminal. The first end of the wire terminal is secured to the electrical contact using a mechanical device such as a crimping connector or a spring connector.

    摘要: An improved multi-polar feedthrough assembly employs a particular metallic ferrule material for improved dimensional stability during initial fabrication and sustained hermetic operation. In one aspect, the disclosure relates to implantable medical devices (IMDs) including an IMD enclosure fabricated with grade 2 titanium and having a ferrule material fabricated with grade 4 titanium or grade 5 titanium. In one form, the multi-polar feedthrough assembly includes a filtered feedthrough array (e.g., employing capacitive filters coupled to the electrically conductive pins or serpentine conductors of the array). According to another aspect, the improved multi-polar feedthrough assembly incorporates additional pins, thus increasing the footprint of the assembly, and the additional pins provide analog electrical communication between operative circuitry inside an IMD and analog components external to the IMD.

    摘要: A folding knife of the type wherein the blade may be moved between open and closed positions with the hand holding the knife. A blade is connected by a fixed pivot pin to a casing having the usual two handle or cover pieces providing a casing with a space for receiving the blade in the closed position. A substantially V-shaped slot extends through one of the cover pieces in close proximity and partially surrounding relation to the pivot pin. In addition to a circular opening for the pivot pin, the blade tang includes a linearly elongated, through slot communicating at one end with the circular opening. An actuating member, having integral head and stem portions, extends through the V-shaped slot in the cover piece and slidingly engages the slot in the blade tang, and into a blind V-slot in the inwardly facing surface of the other cover piece. The head of the actuating member may be manually engaged by the operator and moved from one end of the V-shaped slot to the other as the stem portion engaging the tang slot moves the blade about the pivot pin between open and closed positions.
