Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method to provide status indictors on an image galley is disclosed. At least one item to be displayed in an image gallery on a client device is identified. Once identified, status information for the item is obtained. Subsequently, gallery rendering and display instructions are generated and transmitted to the client device. The rendering and display instructions include the status information and enables generation of status indicators from the status information for display over the image gallery at the client device. The rendering and display instructions may also include instructions for displaying the image gallery. The status information at the client device may be updated as status information changes.

In an example, a method can include receiving a search query, generating search results, calculating a time to obtain for each listing in the search results, and arranging the search results for display. The search query can include a current location of a mobile device. The search results can include a plurality of listings, with each listing including a location. The locations representing either a physical location proximate the current location or a delivery time to the current location. The search results can be arranged for display in various manners according to the calculated time to obtain for each result.

In example embodiments, a a primary item is positioned in a predetermined location on a visual display. Navigation direction constraints are determined. The navigation direction constraints provide guidance as to where related items that are related to the primary item, based on at least one attribute of the primary item and attributes of the related items, should be located in the visual display. The related items are positioned in proximity to the predetermined location of the primary item based on the determined navigation direction constraints.
