    摘要: Torsional vibration dampers having a hub integral with a pulley body for rotation therewith and at least an annular first elastomeric member seated on the pulley body between the outer belt engaging surface and the hub and held thereagainst for rotation therewith by a first inertia ring connected to the pulley body are disclosed. The torsional vibration dampers may also include an annular second elastomeric member seated on the pulley body, on a side opposite the annular first elastomeric member, between the outer belt engaging surface and the hub and held thereagainst for rotation therewith by a second inertia ring connected to the pulley body or seated on the first inertia member, on a side opposite the first elastomeric member, between the first inertia member and a front end cap, where the front end cap compresses the second elastomeric member against the first inertia member.

    摘要: A turbocharged engine air system is disclosed. The engine air system includes at least two devices requiring vacuum, a turbocharger having a compressor fluidly connected to an intake manifold of an engine, a first evacuator and a second evacuator. The first evacuator defines a first motive section, a first discharge section, and at least two first suction ports. The first motive section of the first evacuator is fluidly connected to the compressor, and each of the at least two first suction ports are fluidly connected to one of the at least two devices requiring vacuum. The second evacuator defines a second motive section, a second discharge section, and at least two second suction ports. The second motive section of the second evacuator is fluidly connected to at least one of the at least two devices requiring vacuum.

    摘要: Retaining clamps for retaining an over-molded plastic component to a substrate are disclosed herein that include a generally annular band having an inner surface, which defines an inner cavity for receiving a substrate rotatable about a central axis, and an opposing outer surface, which receives an over molded plastic component. The clamps have a plurality of axially extending retaining features formed in the annular band. The retaining features define a trough in the inner surface and a first crest in the outer surface or define a coupling portion forming a second crest. The retaining features are evenly spaced a distance apart along the generally annular band. A pulley body assembly is disclosed having a retaining clamp seated about an outer ring of a bearing for retaining a pulley body over-molded thereto. A method for over-molding a plastic component to a substrate using the retaining clamp is also disclosed herein.

    摘要: Devices for producing vacuum using the Venturi effect are disclosed that have a motive passageway converging toward a suction chamber, a discharge passageway diverging away from the suction chamber, and a suction passageway, all of which are in fluid communication with the suction chamber. The motive passageway has a single entrance, and subdivides downstream thereof into a plurality of subpassageways, one each leading to one of the plurality of motive exits, which are spaced apart from a discharge entrance of the discharge passageway to define a Venturi gap. The fletch having a plurality of ribs extending between an exterior surface of the generally conically-shaped main body thereof and an interior surface of the motive passageway is disposed in the motive passageway. The ribs divide the motive passageway into the plurality of sub-passageways, each converging fluid flow over the exterior surface thereof toward one of the plurality of motive exits.

The arm includes at least one stopping element. The tong is selectively engaged with the at least one stopping element of the arm. The arm is substantially prevented from rotating in the opposite direction if the tong is engaged with the at least one stopping element. The clutch is operatively coupled to the arm. The clutch includes an engaged and a disengaged position. If the clutch is in the engaged position, then the tong is engaged with the at least one stopping element of the arm.

    摘要: Devices for producing vacuum using the Venturi effect and systems, such as internal combustion engine systems, including the same are disclosed. The devices include a housing defining a suction chamber, a motive passageway converging toward the suction chamber and in fluid communication therewith, a discharge passageway diverging away from the suction chamber and in fluid communication therewith, and a suction passageway in fluid communication with the suction chamber. Within the suction chamber, a motive exit of the motive passageway is generally aligned with and spaced apart from a discharge entrance of the discharge passageway to define a Venturi gap, and the suction passageway enters the suction chamber at a position that generates about a 180 degree change in the direction of suction flow from the suction passageway to the discharge passageway.
