摘要: A marine engine system includes a marine engine, a turbocharger comprising a compressor, an air valve positioned in a flow path connecting the compressor and a mixing chamber to split flow between an intake air stream and a recovered air stream directed to a separation unit, an air operated compressor to generate a separator feed stream by increasing the pressure of the recovered air stream, the separation unit configured to concentrate nitrogen from the separator feed stream to generate a nitrogen-enriched air stream and a nitrogen-depleted air stream, a mixing chamber to combine the nitrogen-enriched air stream and the intake air stream to generate a nitrogen-enriched intake air stream, and a controller communicatively coupled to the air valve to direct the air valve to variably adjust the split between the intake air stream and the recovered air stream.

The air intake tube has a first end configured to interface with an air cleaner of an air supply system that provides air to the compression-ignition engine, a second end configured to interface with a compressor of a turbocharger of the air supply system, and a sidewall extending between the first end and the second end. The sidewall includes a fuel interface configured to facilitate providing a supplemental fuel into the air intake tube to mix with the air upstream of the compressor of the turbocharger.

摘要: The invention relates to an exhaust gas turbocharger with a silencer. The silencer comprises a multiplicity of damping elements which are arranged concentrically about a central axis of the silencer and are spaced apart concentrically from one another, with the result that a flow duct is formed in each case between adjacent damping elements. The flow duct has an inlet which is at a greater radial spacing from the central axis than an outlet of the flow duct.

摘要: An evacuator for supplying vacuum to a device in a boosted engine air system is disclosed. The evacuator defines a body comprising a converging motive section, a diverging discharge section, at least one suction port, and a Venturi gap located between an outlet end of the converging motive section and an inlet end of the diverging discharge section. A lineal distance is measured between the outlet end and the inlet end. The lineal distance is decreased in length if higher suction vacuum at a specific set of operating conditions is required and the lineal distances is increased in length if higher suction flow rate at the specific set of operating conditions is required.

摘要: A condensation management device includes: a first chamber that receives liquid from an outlet of a charge air cooler (CAC) and that includes an aperture through a bottom-most wall of the first chamber; a second chamber that receives liquid from the first chamber when the aperture is open and that outputs liquid received from the first chamber to an intake system of an engine at a location between the CAC and a throttle valve; and a valve configured to open the aperture when at least one of: (i) a mass of the liquid within the first chamber is less than a predetermined mass; and (ii) a first pressure within the first chamber is greater than or equal to a second pressure within the second chamber. The valve is configured to block the aperture when (i) and (ii) are not satisfied.
