摘要: A foam core mattress including a cushion layer having a foam with an IFD of between about 6 to about 18 and a density of between about 1.5 lb./ft3 to about 4 lb./ft3. The mattress includes a core that is coupled with a bottom surface of the cushion layer. The core includes a matrix of rebond foam pieces that includes at least 5% foam pieces having volumes of less than about 0.5 in3, at least 40% foam pieces having volumes of between about 0.5 and 2.0 in3, and at least 20% foam pieces having volumes of greater than 2.0 in3, wherein the core has an IFD of between about 21 and 36. 摘要: A seating system for a chair in the form of a deflatable cushion. The two-inch-thick cushion, divided into nine rectangular sections, will have an open-end casing comprised of viscoelastic foam. The air compressor, connected to the battery power source, shoots pressurized gas into a check valve and then into branched rubber tubing's. The sequence of deflation is as follows: pressurized gas passes through the air compressor's plastic compartment, which encases antibacterial liquid that the gas can pass through before entering the check valve. Having exited the air compressor and entered the check valve, the valve will regulate the flow of air to the cushion based on synchronization with the compressor and electronic feedback from the application or manual control. Having entered the check valve, the pressurized, sanitary gas enters the rubber tubing's and the porous rubber tubes' eight subsections. This will cause deflation of the cushion. In addition, a heat sensor will be on the top-layer of the cushion and it can be linked to a computer for the user to monitor which areas of contact are too high in heat.

摘要: A support cushion for converting a temperature difference into an electrical voltage is provided. The support cushion includes a body supporting portion, a heat dissipating portion comprised of a thermally-absorbent material and positioned adjacent to the body supporting portion, and a plurality of thermoelectric elements that are positioned and configured to convert a temperature difference between the body supporting portion and the heat dissipating portion into an electric voltage at a charging port. Methods of converting a temperature difference into an electric voltage are also provided.
