摘要: A clipping system includes a clip, a core member and a control member. The clip includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, and clip arms. Proximal ends of the arms are slidably received within the channel to move the arms between open and closed configurations. The core member is received between and connected to the proximal ends of the arms to couple the arms to one another. The core member includes a locking feature movable between unlocked and locked configurations. The control member extends through a proximal portion of the system from a proximal end to an enlarged distal end housed within a proximal portion of the core member so that a longitudinal movement of the control member relative to the capsule moves the clip between the open and closed configurations.

摘要: A system for treating tissue includes an applicator having a bushing and a control member and a clip assembly having a capsule with a channel extending therethrough. The channel includes proximal and distal portions. The distal portion extends distally from the proximal portion and flaring outward in a single plane to form opposing flared sections. The assembly also includes clip aims include proximal ends slidably received within the channel to move the arms between tissue receiving and tissue clipping configurations. The assembly further includes a yoke including a distal portion connected to the arms and a proximal portion configured to be connected to the control member so that longitudinal movement of the control member relative to the capsule moves the arms between the tissue receiving and clipping configurations. The yoke is positioned in the capsule so that the yoke is deformable in the plane in which the capsule flares outward.

摘要: A percutaneous device for closing blood vessels has a main body in which a distal clip and a proximal clip connected to each other by a tie rod are accommodated, an abutment element, and a handle for maneuvering the distal and proximal clips, the abutment element and the tie rod. The distal clip has a proximal housing, and the proximal clip has a distal housing and a proximal housing. The tie rod is positioned inside the housings when the distal and proximal clips are inserted inside the main body, so as to not interfere with correct sliding thereof.

摘要: Surgical clips and surgical applicators used in performing rapid tissue closure in either minimally invasive surgeries or traditional open procedures are provided. In one example approach, a surgical clip comprises opposing sides extending from a top portion and terminating at tips positioned below the top portion. The resting position of the clip is its closed position. Edges of the top portion and the opposing sides form opposing faces perpendicular to the opposing sides. The opposing faces are angled inwardly towards each other at a region of the faces adjacent to the top portion. Grooves are formed in each of the opposing sides. The grooves are configured to engage inwardly turned tracks of a clip applicator such that, when a force is applied to the clip, the opposing sides bend outwardly away from each other to place the clip in an intermediate open position.

摘要: A system for implanting a repair device onto a native valve of a natural heart to repair the native valve of a patient during a non-open-heart procedure. The system includes a surgical a valve repair device for repairing a native valve of a patient including a pair of paddles, and a pair of gripping members. The paddles are movable between an open position and a closed position, in which the paddles are moved to the open position by moving a pivot point of each paddle in an outward direction and pivoting each of the paddles about the pivot point of the paddle. The paddles and the gripping members are configured to attach to the native valve of the patient when the paddles are in the closed position.
