    摘要： A system for treating tissue includes a clip assembly including clip arms movable relative to a channel of a capsule so that the clip arms are movable between a tissue receiving configuration and a tissue clipping configuration. Also, the system includes an applicator releasably coupleable to the clip assembly. The applicator includes a bushing and a control member extending therethrough. The bushing includes deflectable fingers, each of the fingers including an engaging feature at a distal end thereof to engage a corresponding engaging feature of the capsule of the clip assembly and assembled with a pusher element configured to push the fingers to a radially outward position. The pusher element includes a U-shaped portion curving into a channel of the bushing and a longitudinal portion extending distally therefrom. A cam washer is slidable over a length of the control member and positioned distally of the U-shaped portion.

    摘要： A cartridge may include a pair of side walls separated by a compartment, the compartment being configured to receive a surgical clip, and a base member supporting the pair of side walls. The pair of side walls may extend at an acute angle relative to a vertical axis of the base member to hold the surgical clip at the acute angle. The acute angle may be greater than 10° and/or about 20-30°. The cartridge may also include a pedestal extending between the pair of side walls and configured to support the surgical clip, where the pedestal is disposed at the acute angle. The cartridge may further include a retainer configured to retain the surgical clip in the compartment, the retainer including a pair of fingers configured to contact the surgical clip, where the pair of fingers are oriented at the acute angle.

    摘要： Surgical clips and surgical applicators used in performing rapid tissue closure in either minimally invasive surgeries or traditional open procedures are provided. In one example approach, a surgical clip comprises opposing sides extending from a top portion and terminating at tips positioned below the top portion. The resting position of the clip is its closed position. Edges of the top portion and the opposing sides form opposing faces perpendicular to the opposing sides. The opposing faces are angled inwardly towards each other at a region of the faces adjacent to the top portion. Grooves are formed in each of the opposing sides. The grooves are configured to engage inwardly turned tracks of a clip applicator such that, when a force is applied to the clip, the opposing sides bend outwardly away from each other to place the clip in an intermediate open position.

The push plate moves with the carrier and pushes the clip toward the jaw as the carrier moves, and the push plate doesn't retract with the carrier or stop retracting after having retracted for a pre-set distance as the carrier retracts.

    摘要： A surgical clip cartridge, assembly, and method are provided for the storage, delivery, and loading of clips, such as those used in a surgical ligating process. The surgical clip cartridge includes a base portion extending in a longitudinal direction, the base portion having a bottom surface and defining a mounting groove for attaching the base portion onto a surgical instrument shaft. The base portion further includes a plurality of dividers extending from the base portion in a direction opposite of the bottom surface, and the plurality of dividers may be used to retain individual surgical clips therebetween for subsequent retrieval and loading onto a clip applier. The attachment of the surgical clip cartridge to the surgical instrument shaft enables the surgical clip cartridge to be deployed intracorporeally for use in surgical operations requiring applications of multiple surgical clips.
