Abstract:
A salt-based device and a circuit to monitor and log the time periods a data center air's relative humidity goes above a predefined limit. The choice of the salt is such that its deliquescent relative humidity is equal to the desired limit, so that above the desired limit, the salt gets wet and therefore electrically conductive. An alarm can then give notice that relative humidity levels are above acceptable levels so that remedial action may be taken before problems such as electronic malfunction develop.
Abstract:
A method for operating an air-drying device (10) and an air-drying device (10) are provided. The air-drying device (10) has at least one adsorption device (20) with a first adsorption section (21), a second adsorption section (22), an air feed line (11), an air removal line and an analysis unit (13). The first adsorption section (21) and the second adsorption section (22) can be used alternatingly to dry air (70). The air feed line (11) feeds air (70) to be dried and is connected to an inlet opening (24) of the adsorption device (20) in a fluid-communicating manner. The air removal line (12) removes dried air (70) and is connected to an outlet opening (25) of the adsorption device (20) in a fluid-communicating manner. A compressed air system (60) for providing compressed air (70) has such an air-drying device (10).
Abstract:
A CO2 removal device includes: a CO2 capturing material which captures H2O and CO2 in a gas; a reaction container which contains the CO2 capturing material; an H2O measuring unit for measuring the concentration of H2O in the gas; an H2O concentration adjustment device which adjusts the concentration of H2O on the basis of information obtained by the H2O measuring unit; a gas introduction path introducing the gas into the reaction container from the H2O concentration adjustment device and bringing the gas into contact with the CO2 capturing material; a first gas discharge path discharging the gas from the reaction container after the gas has been brought into contact with the CO2 capturing material; and a second gas discharge path discharging the gas that has been desorbed from the CO2 capturing material from the reaction container. The CO2 removal device allows for the reduction of energy consumption in removing CO2.

Abstract:
A spraying device for quickly forming gas hydrates, includes a stable gas supply system, a saturated solution preparation system, a gas-liquid mixed sprayer, a temperature control system and a data collecting and processing system. Pressure atomization is achieved at a high atomization speed and the atomized fog drops are uniformly distributed within a scale range of 5-10 microns to form a gas-in-water contact mode, so as to effectively increase a gas-water contact superficial area and significantly shorten the induction time of forming the gas hydrates. The device achieves gas-liquid intensive mixing in a gas-liquid mixing cavity in a spray manner and consumes no energy, thereby reducing the total energy consumption of forming the gas hydrates and improving the energy consumption efficiency of forming the gas hydrates. The spraying device applies to thermodynamics and kinetics experiments of quick and continuous hydrate method gas separation and rapid formation of the gas hydrates.
Abstract:
A system for regulating an amount of fresh lime slurry introduced to a spray dry absorber. The control system includes a controller configured to receive input from a continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS), a valve in communication with the controller and a spray dry absorber suction pump, the valve adapted to regulate an amount of fresh lime slurry provided to the spray dry absorber suction pump and a valve in communication with the controller and a pre-mix tank, the valve adapted to regulate an amount of fresh lime slurry provided to the pre-mix tank.
Abstract:
When CO2 gas is absorbed by using an absorbent circulating in an absorption tower and an absorbent regeneration tower, a first sampling part at which a lean solution sample is collected in the vicinity of an inlet for a lean solution supply line in the absorption tower, a second sampling part at which a rich solution sample is collected in the vicinity of an outlet for a rich solution supply line in the absorption tower, and an analyzing device which analyzes the collected lean solution sample and rich solution sample are provided; the lean solution sample at the first sampling part and the rich solution sample at the second sampling part are collected, respectively, in the same time period, and concentrations of CO2 gas in the lean solution sample and the rich solution sample are measured, and then the gas absorbing/regenerating operation is controlled based on measured results.
Abstract:
A controller for controlling an on-board inert gas generation system (OBIGGS) having an air separation module (ASM) dynamically modulates a temperature setpoint for air inlet temperature to the ASM to provide a minimum temperature setpoint that produces a prescribed oxygen concentration at an output of the ASM.
