Abstract:
A quick disconnect device for connecting a sprayer tank to a portable pump assembly has a tubular body with an internal passageway for conveying gas between the sprayer tank and the portable pump assembly. A first plunger member is mounted within the internal passageway of that device for moving reciprocally between the sprayer tank and the portable pump assembly. A second plunger member, mounted within the internal passageway, moves reciprocally between the sprayer tank and the portable pump assembly. A first resilient member urges the first plunger member away from the sprayer tank to prevent gas from flowing into the sprayer tank. A second resilient member urges the second plunger member toward the sprayer tank to prevent gas from flowing out of the sprayer tank. The first plunger member moves toward the sprayer tank to overcome the spring constant of the first resilient member to direct gas from the portable pump assembly into the sprayer tank. And the internal pressure of the sprayer tank moves the second resilient member to overcome the spring constant of the second resilient member for relieving pressure from the sprayer tank.
Abstract:
A (paint) sprayer having a wet part, a dry part and a component (such as a piston) that, when in place when the wet and dry parts are operatively assembled together at least in part prevents leakage from the wet part to the dry part. A device or mechanism (such as a flexible clip or a pivotal bracket) connected to one of the parts prevents the wet and dry parts from being assembled together when the component is not in place relative to the one of the parts.
Abstract:
A high pressure water cleaner with detachable water tank includes a water cleaner main unit having an internal hydraulic pump, a top receptacle and a feed water connector in the receptacle in communication with the hydraulic pump, and a water tank detachably insertable into the receptacle and lockable to the receptacle by a movable lock. Thus, the water cleaner main unit and the water tank can be used together or separately subject to different application requirements.
Abstract:
Apparatus and method for quickly disconnecting a wetted parts subassembly from a paint spray gun wherein the wetted parts subassembly includes a spray tip, pump cylinder and piston and paint cup components including a pump housing cylinder support carrying the pump cylinder and having a pair of protrusions formed on a pump housing cylinder support, a frame having a pair of slots aligned to receive the protrusions when the pump housing cylinder support is received in the frame, a locking lever pivotably attached to the frame adjacent at least one of the slots and movable between a latched position wherein the pump housing cylinder support is retained to the frame, and an unlatched position wherein the pump housing cylinder support is removable from the frame. A passive retention feature frictionally engages the wetted parts subassembly with the frame when the wetted parts subassembly is received in the frame.

Abstract:
The frame 12 of a gas hydraulic sprayer 10 has a rear bumper 12a to be tilted up so that the immersion or suction tube 14 clears a paint container and rests on the bumper 12a. The hydraulic motor 16 consists of a piston 38 with a magnet 41, two sensors 47, a solenoid valve 32 and a microprocessor 18 which directs fluid through a solenoid operated valve 32 to the top or bottom of the piston 38. A secondary cooler or radiator 20 is made of tubing and attached to the hydraulic pump case 22 and routed in front of the fan and back to the oil reservoir.
Abstract:
The present invention comprises a liquid for neutralizing bugs, a liquid disbursing device to cover the bugs and insert them with the liquid and a method for neutralizing and removing bugs. The liquid for neutralizing bugs is not toxic to humans and comprises a combined solution of n-alkyl dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chlorides; n-alkyl dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chlorides; extract of amaranthus retroflexus; vinegar and inert ingredients. Water may also be included. The liquid disbursing device comprises a liquid container with an upper hand fingers liquid pumping cylinder. Attached to the liquid pumping cylinder is a new and improved large funnel cap type device to catch the bug and spray the liquid about the entire outer area of the cap device to contact the by or bugs in any position. In an alternate embodiment the cap type device is provided with a forward lower configuration to receive the neutralized bug as it falls from its position. In another alternate embodiment the funnel cap type device is attached to a solid tube device to be held by the user's hand and an extendable flexible tube with the upper end attached to the bottom of the solid tube and the lower end attached to the pumping cylinder.
Abstract:
Pressurised sprayer, comprising a tank, the tank comprising a main body, a head region and a plunger for manually pressurising said tank. Pressurised sprayer also comprising a compressed air inlet for automatically pressurising the tank with air from outside, a pressure relief valve, a compressed flow outlet, and a removable, external compressor module that is independent of the tank, the compressor module for its part comprising an air compressor and a battery for supplying the air compressor with electricity, the compressor module being connected to said compressed air inlet, said compressor module being secured to the sprayer. Pressurised sprayer where said compressed air inlet comprises a valve stem, said valve stem for its part being a non-return valve, and the compressor module is connected to said valve stem via a hose having a connection head.
Abstract:
