    摘要: The invention concerns a support beam of a coating system for coating a web of paper or cardboard carried in or at the coating system by a roll, the support beam having a length about the same as the roll. Tie rods or thrust rods are distributed around the periphery of the support beam and are spaced at least 50 mm from the center of gravity line of the cross sectional surfaces of the beam. The cross sectional surfaces are disposed perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the support beam. Traction or thrust devices apply a tension or compression force to at least one of the tie rods or thrust rods.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling the tilt angle of a doctor blade comprising two support blocks for a doctor blade supporting beam, a first actuator by which the supports are movable about their bearing points, a blade supporting beam pivotally mounted between upper parts of the support blocks having a doctor blade attached to the beam, and a second actuator by means of which the blade supporting beam is movable about its pivoting point in order to control the tilt angle and loading of the blade. In accordance with the invention, the first actuator is arranged to rest against a guiding surface of a guiding cam permanently arranged to the pivoting point of the blade supporting beam. The arrangement in accordance with the invention provides a simple and reliable method for blade angle control.

Further, the method prevents the contamination of the feed line that is caused by the increase of the length of a feeding line after a coating layer is formed by the roll coater coating facility, and a paper break trouble that is caused by the paper break while the contamination or the moisture percentage of the feed line is high, thereby improving production efficiency.[Means for Solving Problem]The method of manufacturing coated paper consistently performs a papermaking process, a coating process, and a flattening process. A coating facility is formed of a combination of a roll coater coating facility and first and second coating facilities of which coating methods are different from that of the roll coater coating facility, and the roll coater coating facility is provided between the first and second coating facilities.
