The actuator is coupled with the pillar member and includes a movable member that is movable between deployed and retracted positions. The controller is electrically coupled with the actuator and is configured to facilitate movement of the actuator from the retracted position to the deployed position in response to detection of a collision. When the movable member is in the deployed position with the door closed, the movable member is in an abutting relationship with the door. When the movable member is in the retracted position, the movable member is spaced from the door.

A link has a first end rotationally coupled to the fork bolt and a second end arranged to move linearly between a first position and a second position. When the fork bolt is in an unlatch position, the second end of the link applies a rotational force to the flexible member.

The auxiliary key is insertable into the rotor. A tumbler is rotatable with the rotor in the key cylinder. The tumbler holds the auxiliary key in a manner irremovable from the key cylinder in accordance with the rotational position of the rotor. A key lock mechanism is capable of locking the rotor in a state in which the tumbler holds the auxiliary key in a manner irremovable from the key cylinder. A control unit selectively switches the rotor between a locked state and an unlocked state by controlling the key lock mechanism so as to permit removal of the auxiliary key when the rotor is in the unlocked state.

摘要： An operation rod includes a first rod and a second rod. A one-end portion of the first rod is connected to a lock closer to be rotationally movable. The second rod is supported so as to be slidingly movable relative to a hand lever. A connecting portion connects an opposite-end portion of the first rod and a one-end portion of the second rod to each other. The connecting portion includes: a long hole which is formed in the opposite-end portion of the first rod; and a pin which is formed on the one-end portion of the second rod and which engages with the long hole to be slidingly movable therein.
