The pump (10) comprises an impeller (20) and a casing (50) surrounding the impeller, the impeller having a main passage (24) that divides into a first passage (241) and a second passage (242) with a common feed inlet (22) parallel to the axis of rotation (A) of the pump, the common feed inlet (22) being the inlet of the main passage (24), the first passage (241) having a first outlet (243) that is radially oriented, opening out at a first diameter relative to the axis of rotation (A) and suitable for supplying fluid at a first pressure, and the second passage (242) having a second outlet (244) that is oriented radially and situated behind the first outlet (243), opening out at a second diameter that is greater than the first diameter, the second outlet (244) being suitable for supplying the fluid at a second pressure that is higher than the first pressure, the impeller (20) co-operating with the casing (50) to form an axial balancing system having a chamber (90) formed between the rear face (27) of the impeller and the portion (57) of the casing that faces the rear face (27), the inlet to the chamber (90) being situated at the level of the second outlet (244).

In the centrifugal turbomachinery, a plurality of centrifugal impellers is attached to a rotating shaft, and the centrifugal turbomachinery is provided with a diffuser having a plurality of blades introducing a fluid boosted by a front stage impeller to a rear stage impeller, and a return flow path means.     摘要: A stackable multi-stage diffuser with anti-rotation lugs utilizes cast lugs and complementary recesses in the diffuser walls. When stacked in a housing, the lugs of lower diffusers nest inside the recesses of upper diffusers. The diffuser sections interlock and are mechanically locked in the housing to prevent rotation of the diffusers. Each diffuser is sealed directly to adjacent diffusers with o-rings, but do not contact or seal to the housing.

    摘要: A vapor lock in a fuel pump can be prevented by reducing the formation of vapor within the fuel. A first group of concavities may be formed in an inner circumferential region of an intake side face of an impeller, and a second group of concavities may be formed concentrically in a region outside of the first group of concavities. A third group of concavities that communicates with the second group of concavities may be formed in a discharge side face of the impeller. The impeller is housed within a casing. A first groove that faces the first group of concavities and a second groove that faces the second group of concavities may be formed in the face of the casing that faces the intake side face of the impeller. A third groove that faces the third group of concavities may be formed in the face of the casing that faces the discharge side face of the impeller.

    摘要: A bulk materials pump feeder having a housing and a rotating drive rotor for transferring material from an inlet to an outlet of the housing. The drive rotor has a hub. Drive disks extend away from the hub toward a housing inner wall. Three structural features of the feeder reduce the tendency of material to jam between the drive rotor and the housing or other stationary parts. First, the distance between the circumferential edges of the drive disks and the housing inner wall increases from the inlet to the outlet in the direction of rotation of the drive rotor. Second, a low-friction brush seal disposed on the periphery of the drive disks seals the area between the periphery of the drive disks and the inner wall. Finally, a materials scraper having a flexible tip is mounted in the housing and extends into the drive rotor between the drive disks.
