The light module (13) is mounted for movement relative to the housing (12) such that the light module (13) is movable between a retracted position in which the first lighting emitting surface is exposed and the second lighting emitting surface is covered by the housing (12), and an extended position in which the second lighting emitting surface is exposed.

摘要: A headset for virtual reality applications includes an array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) emitting light captured by a camera included in a virtual reality system, allowing the virtual reality system to detect the position and orientation of the headset in three-dimensional space. To manufacture the headset, a flexible strip including a circuit having the LEDs is molded into an outer shell of the headset using a casting material that is transmissible to wavelengths of light transmitted by the LEDs. An interior surface of the outer shell of the headset is within a specified distance of the LEDs. The outer shell may also include fabric that is also molded into the outer shell in the same or in a similar process.

摘要: A light bar structure is disclosed in the present invention. The light bar structure includes a housing whereinside an accommodating space is formed, and the accommodating space is for accommodating a light unit. The housing includes an engaging portion for engaging with the light unit to constrain a movement of the light unit at a first direction, and a contacting portion for contacting against the light unit to constrain a movement of the light unit at a second direction different from the first direction. The light bar structure further includes an isolating component disposed on a bottom inside the housing, and two conductive components disposed on the isolating component for electrically connecting two electrodes of the light unit.

摘要: An apparatus and method is characterized by providing an optical transfer function between a predetermined illuminated surface pattern, such as a street light pattern, and a predetermined energy distribution pattern of a light source, such as that from an LED. A lens is formed having a shape defined by the optical transfer function. The optical transfer function is derived by generating an energy distribution pattern using the predetermined energy distribution pattern of the light source. Then the projection of the energy distribution pattern onto the illuminated surface is generated. The projection is then compared to the predetermined illuminated surface pattern to determine if it acceptably matches. The process continues reiteratively until an acceptable match is achieved. Alternatively, the lens shape is numerically or analytically determined by a functional relationship between the shape and the predetermined illuminated surface pattern and predetermined energy distribution pattern of a light source as inputs.

The housing can further include an intermediate portion coupled to and positioned between the fixture coupling feature and the light board coupling feature, where the intermediate portion forms a first angle with the fixture coupling feature and a second angle with the light board coupling feature.

摘要: A rotatable single ended compact LED lamp for use in a light fixture. The device includes a single ended LED lamp with a circuit board with LEDs that is positioned in a transparent or translucent cover, and a swivel base to which the circuit board and the transparent or translucent cover are non-rotatably connected. An end cap is rotatably coupled to the swivel base, the end cap having electrical prongs extends therefrom. A rotation position selection device is included for positioning the single ended LED lamp, the transparent or translucent cover, and its swivel base in one of a plurality of rotational orientations relative to the end cap, wherein when the single ended LED lamp, the transparent or translucent cover, and its swivel base are rotated relative to the end cap, a rotational orientation of the single ended LED lamp relative to the end cap is changed.

摘要: A lighting device includes a rotating unit, a clutching unit releasably engaging the rotating unit, and a lighting unit connected to the rotating unit. The clutching unit is operable to move between a first position, where the clutching unit engages the rotating unit to limit rotation thereof, and a second position, where the clutching unit disengages the rotating unit to permit free rotation thereof. The lighting unit is adjustable to a desired illumination angle when the clutching unit is in the second position. The clutching unit is moved from the second position to the first position to position the lighting unit at the desired illumination angle.
