摘要: Method and drill string valve for closing a conduit through which a high pressure fluid flows. The drill string valve includes an elongated housing having an inside cavity, a seal element attached to a first end of the elongated housing, the seal element being disposed within the inside cavity such that a flow of liquid through the inside cavity from the first end to a second end of the elongated housing is allowed, a sliding valve disposed within the inside cavity and configured to slide to and from the seal element along the axis such that when the sliding valve contacts the seal element the flow of liquid is suppressed, a biasing cartridge disposed within the inside cavity, between the seal element and the second end of the elongated housing, and configured to apply a first force on the sliding valve such that the sliding valve is contacting the seal element, and a loading mechanism disposed within the inside cavity, between the biasing cartridge and the second end of the elongated housing, and configured to apply a second force on the biasing cartridge.

摘要: A reciprocating pump introduces a liquid into a pump chamber through a suction valve and discharges the liquid from the pump chamber through a discharge valve by reciprocating movement of a reciprocating member facing the pump chamber. The suction valve and the discharge valve include: a body portion having therein a flow path for a liquid; a valve seat portion provided at an entrance side of the flow path of the body portion and having therein a hole through which the liquid flows; a valving element provided in the body portion and able to open and close the hole of the valve seat portion; and a spring provided in the body portion for pressing the valving element into the hole of the valve seat portion. The spring has projections which are formed on an outer circumferential portion of its surface to project toward the inner wall of the body portion.

摘要: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for a gas chromatography (GC) system with a check valve. The check valve is situated downstream from the electronic flow control module and upstream of the injector. When a sample is volatized in the injector, the check valve closes into a checked position and prevents solvent and sample from backing into the gas delivery line. In certain embodiments, the check valve has a conical plug that fits into a seat that has an aperture. When the conical plug is depressed, the conical plug engages the sides of the aperture and seals the check valve, preventing solvent and sample from backing through the check valve. In certain embodiments, the change in pressure caused by over-pressurization in the injector, combined with the force applied by a spring on the conical plug, depresses the plug such that it seals the aperture.

Anti-rotation ribs are provided integrally on an inner peripheral surface of the valve housing. The anti-rotation ribs abut the valve body so as to restrain the valve body from rotating.

摘要: A fluid flow control valve is disclosed. This valve includes a housing which defines a central passageway having fluid inlet and fluid outlet openings. A pressure responsive element is disposed within the passageway for selectively opening and closing the inlet opening to fluid flow in response to pressure exerted thereon at the inlet opening. A mechanism is provided within the passageway for exerting a bias force against the pressure responsive element sufficient to close the inlet opening to fluid flow absent a pre-established level of pressure exerted on the pressure responsive element in opposition to the bias force. Finally, a retainer device is positioned for removably securing the pressure responsive element and bias force exerting mechanism within the passageway.
