Abstract:
This invention is to improve the reproducibility and yield in separating a bonded substrate stack. A bonded substrate stack having a porous layer inside is held by substrate holding portions 105 and 106, and a fluid is injected from a nozzle to the porous layer of the bonded substrate stack, thereby separating the bonded substrate stack at the porous layer. The variation in pressure of the fluid is suppressed within a predetermined range by a servo-driven pump.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a set of in-line couplers to quickly disconnect a showerhead from the water supply pipe and convert it to a handheld shower sprayer via a quick connect flexible conduit for purpose of cleaning, bathing and spraying. In first embodiment, a set of couplers includes a threaded female coupler that is fasten to water supply pipe's threaded end and a threaded male coupler that is fasten to showerhead threaded end. The showerhead can quickly be connected via the male coupler to female coupler at the water supply pipe. The showerhead can easily be disconnected and detached by push buttons on the side of female coupler. Furthermore, a flexible conduit is also provided to convert the detached showerhead to a handheld shower sprayer. The flexible conduit includes an elongated flexible water hose with two threaded ends. At one end of this hose, a male coupler is fastened and on the other end a female coupler is fastened thereof. This quick connect flexible conduit is coupled with the detached showerhead at one end and at the other end coupled with water supply. The quick connect/disconnect couplers may have optional integrated features such as anti scald mechanism to eliminate body injury caused by scalding, water flow regulator to regulate water pressure and a shut off valve to stop the water flow on demand.
Abstract:
A spray nozzle for spraying a fluid and suitable for use in hot corrosive environments is disclosed, comprising a single piece body comprising a top and a bottom disposed opposite the top where the bottom further comprises a connector; a channel disposed about an outer portion of the single piece body intermediate the bottom and the top, the channel extending from the outer portion of the single piece body and terminating at an interior wall; and a fluid passageway in fluid communication with the bottom and with the channel. The channel may disperse fluid at a predetermined angle defined by the outer portion of the single piece body and the interior wall of the channel with respect to an axis defined by the fluid passageway. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract which will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.
Abstract:
A misting system uses elements having multiple functions, and integrates the mist producing nozzles and conduits with other components so that the misting system does not detract from the aesthetics of the surrounding environment. The misting system preferably uses fresh water under high pressure (200-1000 psi), and supplies mist droplets about 5-100 microns in diameter to effect evaporative cooling of the surrounding area. The nozzles are screw-threaded into conduits or nozzle extensions, and preferably use orifices having a diameter of about 0.2-0.5 mm. The misting system may be aesthetically integrated into a boat (or other watercraft) canopy frame, a boat superstructure, a boat rail, a ceiling panel, and/or a light fixture. The nozzle extensions may be modified to have external screw threads which cooperate with a nut or other structure for mounting. The misting nozzle may be used with a supporting vertical pipe with T-piece for landscaping or agricultural misting.
Abstract:
A fitting for lawn sprinkler systems which have pipes of rigid, plastic such as polyvinylchloride (PVC). The fitting includes a main body with a tubular section affixed to it at about a 30 degree angle. The tubular section has an outer surface with at least a pair of posts extending outwardly from it in opposite directions. In use, the main body of the fitting can be mounted onto the outer surface of the pipe and portions of a coring tool can then be positioned substantially about the opposing posts to anchor the tool to the fitting and aid the tool in coring the pipe.
Abstract:
A special fitting consisting of four sub components. The main boby of 1 has a thread on to which the conical threaded ring 2 is mounted by tightening, in-between the thread of teh body 1 and the conical part 9, the wall of the layflat hose 6. Using the nut 4 all the sub compoents are tightened up, thus achieving perfect sealing between the water off-take fitting and the layflat hose.
Abstract:
Sprayer with writing function, including: a main body which is a cylindrical body having two open ends, a diaphragm being integrally formed in the main body to divide the interior thereof into a first chamber and a second chamber; an atomizer disposed on a predetermined section of the open end of the first chamber, the atomizer including a nozzle seat and a nozzle unit disposed on the nozzle seat and extending into the first chamber; and a writing device disposed at a predetermined section of the open end of the second chamber and having a hollow barrel body. A pen core is disposed in the barrel body. The sprayer provides both spraying function and writing function. The sprayer has simple structure and is manufactured at low cost. In addition, it is easy to refill the sprayer with the liquid.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for spray coating a substrate with non-melting polymers. The method and apparatus use a high velocity oxygen fuel spray gun to coat a substrate with the non-melting polymers.
Abstract:
A pressure compensated drip irrigation hose (20) includes a hose having a wall (21) with an inner surface (21a). A continuous elastomeric strip member (30) is connected to the inner surface (21a). The continuous elastomeric strip member (30) and inner surface (21a) form a plurality of emitters. The emitters have an inlet section (40), a pressure reducing section (60) which is downstream from the inlet section (40). A pressure responsive section (70) is downstream from the pressure reducing section (60) and the outlet section (80) is downstream from the pressure responsive section (70). The continuous elastomeric strip member (30) is constructed from a material softer than the wall (21).
