The apparatus includes a cutting device, an upper holding device and an upper positioning device, the cutting device being fixed above the upper positioning device on the upper holding device such that it can be moved in the cross-machine direction. The apparatus additionally includes an air guide box that is fixed above the material web, likewise on the upper holding device.

摘要: The primary object of the invention is an arrangement in the fibrous-web machine for tail-threading of a fibrous web, a tail-threading apparatus and a method for tail-threading. The arrangement comprises a tail-threading apparatus which is arranged to receive a tail separated from the fibrous web and to guide it further to the subsequent section of the fibrous-web machine in the longitudinal direction of the fibrous-web machine, at least one blower (102, 104) which is provided with a flow-preventing plate (103, 105) and arranged to guide the tail towards said tail-threading apparatus for feeding the tail to the tail-threading apparatus, whereby said at least one blower (102, 104) with its flow-preventing plate (103, 105) is arranged to divert the travel direction of tail on the longitudinal vertical plane and the cross-directional vertical plane of the fibrous-web machine, and said tail-threading apparatus comprises a rope nip receiving the tail the tail-threading ropes of which are supported by a rope pulley (108) which is arranged to rotate on a plane in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the fibrous-web machine and oblique in relation to the vertical direction and which is arranged to receive the diverted tail in the diverted travel direction. The invention enables the implementation of a tail-threading process fitting into a smaller space.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for depositing a flexible material web, said web being introduced into a folding unit and being deposited from said folding unit at a depositing point. The aim of the invention is to achieve higher production speeds with an excellent fold quality, even for material webs with a low weight. The rerouting roller is perforated and air or another fluid medium is passed through the belt at the rerouting roller to reduce adhesion forces between the belt and the web and lift the web from the belt without damage to the belt.

摘要: A device for non-contact support of a continuous moving web of material employs an air clamp stabilizer that includes a Coanda slot and a backstep that is located downstream of the direction of the airflow extending from the Coanda slot. This configuration permits a Coanda jet to expand and to create an additional suction force. Vortex formation may also occur which further contributes to the strength of the suction force. As the web passes the stabilizer, an area of the web material rides on an air bearing that is maintained above the stabilizer surface and downstream of the backstep.

摘要: An active web stabilizer including a structure having a leading edge and a working surface coupled by a curved surface, the working surface being positioned proximate to a passing web. An internal pressurized air duct extends along the working surface orthogonally to the passing web. An air nozzle is provided at the leading edge and is in fluid communication with the air duct, the nozzle directing air flow around the curved surface and along the working surface. The air duct includes first and second chambers separated by a perforated baffle. An extension surface extends from the working surface and includes a trailing end which is angled away from the passing web. A comb is associated with the nozzle to promote web spreading.

摘要: A method and device for contact-free treatment of a web in which the web is treated, for example supported, reversed, spread, carried, and/or dried, by blowings which provide a carrier-face zone. The carrier-face zone has a curved form regulatable in a direction transverse to the direction of progress of the web. The nozzle-carrier face unit of the device is bent to the curved form in the cross direction of the machine while a frame part of the device is kept in a stationary position. The device includes a regulation arrangement for bending the nozzle-carrier-face unit to a curve form in the direction transverse to the running direction of the web while the frame part of the device is supported in a stationary position.

摘要: A nozzle box assembly for use in apparatus for supporting and guiding a horizontally moving web of sheet material comprises an elongated housing defining an elongated, first chamber which extends centrally and axially of the housing. Second and third chambers are located on opposite sides of the first chamber and extend parallel thereto. The second and third chambers each include an elongated discharge nozzle slot extending parallel to the first chamber and discharging on opposite sides of a Coanda surface. Pressurized gas is supplied to the first chamber and a first and a second plurality of flow openings in the housing respectively act to conduct gas from the first chamber to the second and third chambers in a particularly uniform manner. First and second independently operable valves are mounted in the housing for controlling gas flow through the first and said second plurality of flow openings to thereby control flow to the second and third chambers and from the discharge nozzle slots. An alternate embodiment also shows a discharge slot centrally of the Coanda surface and parallel to the discharge slots from the second and third chambers. This Coanda surface slot is also controlled by an independently operable valve.
