C., then washing. The resulting zeolites are particularly suitable for the conversion of hydrocarbons, above all for cracking. They are distinguished by their ultrastability and good activity.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for producing a crystalline synthetic faujasite of the zeolite Y type wherein a relatively small amount of a zeolite Y seed is thoroughly mixed with sodium silicate at ambient temperature to form an activated sodium silicate system and to such activated system, sodium aluminate is added at ambient temperature. The mixture is then heated and reacted with stirring until the desired cyrstalline product is formed. Zeolite Y is filtered out and then dried.

摘要： Zeolite agglomerates in which the distribution of capillary pores is modified to enhance the number of pores in the diameter range of from 2 to 100 microns are found to have a greatly improved ability to release adsorbed CO.sub.2 into liquid media in a manner which favors both a high rate of desorption and a high degree of solubility of the desorbate gases in the liquid media. The agglomerates are particularly useful for the carbonation of an aqueous medium.
