摘要: A synthesis method for a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst results in the fabrication of Fe/ZSM-5 catalyst with almost exclusively isolated Fe species. The process allows to get more insight into the structure and role of Fe isolated species using in-situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy. The results point to the existence of distorted square-planar Fe2+ species under reducing atmosphere, which is in good agreement with XANES simulations. At lower temperatures Fe species are partially moving out of square-planar to distorted square pyramidal geometry, which is caused by adsorption of one of the reactants. This further improves the understanding of structure-activity relationships and rational development and the application of Fe zeolites in NOx abatement.

摘要: Methods for synthesizing a mesoporous nano-sized ultra-stable Y zeolite include combining a microporous Y zeolite having a SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio of less than 5.2 with water to form a microporous Y zeolite slurry and heating the microporous Y zeolite slurry to 30° C. to 100° C. to form a heated microporous Y zeolite slurry. Further the method includes adding a 0.1M to 2.0M ammonium hexafluorosilicate solution and a 0.1M to 2.0M ammonium hydroxide solution in a drop-wise manner, either sequentially or simultaneously, to the heated microporous Y zeolite slurry to form a treated zeolite solution and holding the treated zeolite solution at 50° C. to 100° C. Finally the method includes filtering and washing the dealuminated solution with water to form an ultra-stable Y zeolite precursor, drying the ultra-stable Y zeolite precursor, and calcining the dried zeolite precursor to form the nano-sized ultra-stable Y zeolite.

摘要: A method of making a xylene isomerization catalyst comprises the steps of (i) contacting a ZSM-5 zeolite starting material having a silica to alumina molar ratio of 20 to 50 and having a mesopore surface area in the range of 50 m2/gram to 200 m2/gram in a reactor with a base to provide an intermediate zeolite material; (ii) recovering the intermediate ZSM-5 zeolite material of step (i); (iii) contacting the intermediate zeolite material with an acid to provide an acid treated ZSM-5 zeolite product; (iv) recovering the acid treated ZSM-5 zeolite material; and (v) calcining the acid treated ZSM-5 zeolite material to provide a desilicated ZSM-5 zeolite product having a silica to alumina molar ratio of 20 to 150 and having a mesopore surface area in the range of 100 m2/gram to 400 m2/gram.

摘要: Methods for synthesizing a mesoporous nano-sized ultra-stable Y zeolite include adding sodium aluminate and colloidal silica to an aqueous NaOH solution and mixing to form a hydrogel having a molar ratio composition of 8 to 12 Na2O:Al2O3:14 SiO2:200 to 400 H2O. The method further includes heating the hydrogel to an autoclave to form a zeolite precursor which is filtered and washed to form a nano-sized Y zeolite. Further the method includes combining the nano-sized Y zeolite with water to form a nano-sized Y zeolite slurry mixture and then adding a 0.1 to 2.0 M aqueous solution of ammonium hexafluorosilicate to form a dealuminated solution. Finally the method includes filtering and washing the dealuminated solution with water to form an ultra-stable Y zeolite precursor, drying the ultra-stable Y zeolite precursor, and calcining the dried zeolite precursor to form the nano-sized ultra-stable Y zeolite.

摘要: A method of making a boronated zeolite catalyst includes preparing an initial slurry comprising water, a shape selective zeolite, boric acid, and a weak acid selected from the group consisting of oxalic acid, citric acid, and oxalic acid and citric acid, hydrothermally treating the initial slurry at a temperature of from 70° C. to 90° C. to produce a hydrothermally treated slurry comprising dealuminated zeolite particles, adjusting the pH of the hydrothermally treated slurry to an intermediate pH of from 8 to 9 to produce a basic slurry, after adjusting the pH to the intermediate pH, hydrothermally treating the basic slurry at a temperature of from 70° C. to 90° C. to produce a boronated zeolite slurry, removing liquids from the boronated zeolite slurry to produce a boronated zeolite filtrate, and drying and calcining the boronated zeolite filtrate to produce the boronated zeolite catalyst.

摘要: Presented is a composition useful in the catalytic dewaxing of a waxy hydrocarbon feedstock. The composition includes a mixture of ZSM-12 zeolite and titania and may further include a noble metal. The ZSM-12 zeolite preferably has a high silica-to-alumina ratio within its framework. The mixture may be dealuminated either by acid leaching using a fluorosilicate salt or by steam treating.

摘要: Process for preparing a catalyst support which process comprises a) mixing pentasil zeolite having a bulk silica to alumina molar ratio in the range of from 20 to 150 with water, a silica source and an alkali metal salt, b) extruding the mixture obtained in step (a), c) drying and calcining the extrudates obtained in step (b), d) subjecting the calcined extrudates obtained in step (c) to ion exchange to reduce the alkali metal content, and e) drying the extrudates obtained in step (d); process for preparing a catalyst by furthermore impregnating such support with platinum in an amount in the range of from 0.001 to 0.1 wt % and tin in an amount in the range of from 0.01 to 0.5 wt %, each on the basis of total catalyst; ethylbenzene dealkylation catalyst obtainable thereby and a process for dealkylation of ethylbenzene which process comprises contacting feedstock containing ethylbenzene with such catalyst.

摘要: A catalyst can include a phosphorus modified zeolite having partly an ALPO structure. The ALPO structure can be determined by a signal between 35-45 ppm in 27Al MAS NMR spectrum. The zeolite can include at least one ten member ring in the structure thereof. The catalyst can also include a binder and one or more metal oxides. The catalyst can be used in processes in the presence of steam at high temperatures, such as temperatures that are above 300° C. and up to 800° C. The catalyst can be used in alcohol dehydration, olefin cracking, MTO processes, and alkylation of aromatic compounds with olefins and/or alcohols.
